Submitting Articles & Private Blog Networks

When submitting articles to a private blog network such as Link Vana 2.0 or SEO Link Vine, should I post the article to my blog first or just submit away?

All I'm really after is the backlinks, but I guess since I actually took the time to write the content I could syndicate it later on...

What are your thoughts on this?

Post everything on your own blog first - wait for Google to index it, then post it elsewhere. You need to get the Google "love" for it, not others

Definitely your own blog first (as long it's not content you're ashamed of!), and after it's been indexed there, anywhere else you like. The explanation here is 1,000 times as long and detailed and ultimately says the same thing.

I had other blog networks and didn't submit yet to the one stingrays06 mentioned..whatever it is..you have to submit first on your own blog like what others think, so that you will get to know the result by yourself and can submit it afterwards to the other..

Some bad info on this thread...If you're submitting blog posts or articles to Link Vana, according to the LV TOS, they must be original, not spun or used elsewhere and point to legit white hat sites.

    I don't know about SEO Linkvine's TOS.

Thanks for the correction in the post above. I haven't used either network (and wouldn't) and was unaware of that!
