1)Im running a niche blog on wordpress with affiliate products on there as well as adsence. I want to either get an additional squeeze page/pages with a different small products that sell or set up another blog to generate more income . I get 1500 visitors for my first 2 months and about 500+ uniques and this blog is a month n a half running.

2)My web hosting company is host gator, but i havent registered a second domain or anything in cpanel because I dont know how the process works just yet. I tried "add-on" domain but Im sure i would have to purchase a new domain name to do all that. I have the baby plan which consist of multiple sites to i would like to take advantage. I use Optimizepress.. does it all for you.

    And pretty easy to use.

It creates squeeze pages and sales pages automatically.

Yes, there are several products out there that can give you a professional squeeze page with ease.

However, you can also do it manually by adding a wordpress page and manually designing that page to look like a squeeze page. You can then remove the sidebar and whala! an easy wordpress squeeze page.

    Best regards,

    Mary

If you want a second domain (a different one from your existing one) you'll need to register a new one. You can do that directly through HostGator, or you can go to Namecheap or anywhere else.

If you register a domain through a company other than HostGator you'll need to point that domain to your HostGator account where you are going to host it. In your HG account on your cpanel home page you will find two nameservers listed. They will look like NS10256 and NS10257 or something like that.

Then you need to go to where you registered your new domain and "point" your new domain to the two nameservers given in your hosting account. You don't need to "transfer" your domain to HG, you just need to point it to the nameservers in your hosting account.

Yes, in your HG account you can use the addon domain function in cpanel to create a new folder for you new domain to upload your files to. Good luck with it! --Mke
