Are BOTS Closing In On WF?

Darnit... I just read 2 threads now and I'm seeing spammed comments all over, their IDs are just same, something like "xlks99" or something, am I the only one seeing this?

They are making totally useless posts and spamming threads, one just made around 10 straight meaningless 1 line posts in one thread in a stretch and it seems like they are getting away with it.

Anyone else bothered?

    Report posts.

The mod's will be along to clean-up. I'm sure the forum is always under attack. It's a popular place.

There is that small red triangle (with ! in it) next to each post.

Click it. Write the reason for reporting: e.g. "ad spam". Submit.

If enough members report a post (the actual number is never revealed) the post goes away automatically

So, don't make threads about the idiots, just report everything diligently...

I just can't help but keep hitting that big red "make unethical money" button on my desktop.

The check should be arriving any day now, I can feel it.

          Yes, you are.

Now for your reading pleasure, I have this nifty thread over here with some tips:

The moderators do such a good job here that it's not "bots" of any kind, themselves, that bother me, to be honest: it's more the fact that we also accommodate and interact with people who actually promote and sell such spamming software/services that sometimes leaves a funny taste in my mouth.

Compared to other forums the mods seem to stay on top of things here

Noticed this a lot! There are more and more new accounts being created and I'm even starting to notice a wave of 5+ spam comments at the beginning of some threads.
