Placing affiliate links on sites that are not yours! Do the * aff networks* allow it?!

Hey Guys,
All though I am many years within the content industry, the area of affiliates is pretty new to me,
I just registered to CJ, Amazon and GAN affiliate networks and started to implement aff links on my sites,
The content I write is quality and original and so far it seems to work pretty well with the affiliate links, HOWEVER, I realized that in some cases the content I have on 3rd party sites (such as Hubpages, Squidoo and some more...) get more traffic than my own sites.

My question is simple:
Is it allowed, by the affiliate networks, to put the links within text that goes onto 3rd party sites?
I know that each site has its own rules... I am asking from the point of the affiliate networks - do CJ, GAN, Click Bank, Amazon allow an affiliated to implement links on sites that are not his?

My question doesn't refer to a specific network but more globally what is the common practice.

Thanks,

Sam

    Hi

It depends on the ToS and the Affiliate Agreement but in most cases this is fine. Many people build free blogs at places like Blogger and Squidoo with affiliate links.

In addition, you may have an article syndicated to another website that leaves your links intact. A good reason to cloak affiliate links.
