Amazon S3 URL not working?

Hi!

Hoping someone can help.

I uploaded a test file to S3 - worked great.

Set permission so "everyone" can read the file via the Firefox plugin - worked great.

Posted the file's URL into Firefox browser and it shows up blank - not great.

Pasted the same URL into Explorer and it worked.

Why is the Amazon S3 URL not showing up in Firefox?

Works for me on Safari and Firefox. The only difference is when I add the URL to Firefox it gives me the option to download the PDF.

I get teh following in all browsers

Your search - <Error><Code>NoSuchBucket</Code><Message>The specified bucket does not exist</Message ... - did not match any documents.

but I can download the pdf by right click/save as.

It looks like a permissions issue.

You say you set everyone to "Read" but in S3 the permission is called "run/download".
I would go to S3 and set the file permission there.

I am not familiar with the Firefox plugin but if it offers a "read" permission does it also offer an "execute" permission. As that is what seems to be missing

You din't associate any stile with your file. That is why you get that massage.
