How Are YOU Using Articles..?

Just curious what everyone's personal article marketing method is. I think if we all post our own we can help each other out and definitely the newbies. I didn't have a system until the past few days but here it is.

1.) Keyword research using the Google adwords tool
2.) Testing the keywords in Google manually to see competition
3.) Writing articles based around those keywords obviously with a resource box that points back to my site and is keyword rich/lsi optimized
4.) Submit to EZA
5.) After the article is accepted through EZA I submit using Article Drip Robot to 20 other high PR article directories.

So, what's your process/method of choice?

Ok, here we go! My tactics are a little different, but they work great for me.

I do the keyword research as you stated, check competition, etc. Then I:

    1. Submit to EzineArticles
    2. Take that same article and submit to 4 or 5 other directories, only I add a link back to an older article on Ezine that uses similar keywords to help boost rankings of older article
    3. Wait for a week or two, then use my articles to add content on my blogs and websites

I use this method on nearly every article I write, this way I am creating new articles and boosting rankings of older ones at the same time. Works well for me

I usually look in the forums to see what people are interested in first. after that i will look up relevant keywords for the article. I write the article focusing on those words then submit and cross link throughout all other social sites then continue to submit to other directories.

The vast majority of my articles are put on my own websites. I submit only about 5% of the articles I write to the bigger article directories.

When submitting to EZA or Squidoo, I don't publish that content anywhere else (the same goes for my own websites). I do mass-submit to other directories, but only once in a while.

I write articles on my blog and instead of promoting anything in the article it self I recommend a product related to the content of the article. As I see it, people come to a site looking for valuable information not a sales pitch.
