How to unsubscribe from this...

I'm getting regular emails originating from someone using a 'warriorsplus' link in their sig, though I've never knowlingly opted in to his list and have bought many WSOs yet no other person has ever emailed me like this.

It says "click here to unsubscribe" as part of that link which of course only takes me to his sales page in the WSO section.

Just wondering how to actually unsubscribe from such a 'list'?

Why not just block them from your email? Have their emails go straight to the Trash or be deleted so that you never even see them? That might be easier, and is certainly faster, than trying to track them down.

      I appreciate the replies.

Fwiw, I did mark his emails as Spam. I suppose my chief concern was wondering exactly how the person got my email.

Yep, the 'unsubscribe' link, such as it is, does go to a WSO sales page and not WarriorsPlus. My settings there are as they've always been and I've never had any problem via purchase of a WSO before, not one. A few other purchases outside WF, yes. I was curious about possible overlap somehow.

I can't PM anyone yet so maybe I'll just copy & send the link, and maybe the entire email text, to a mod to pass along to the relevant parties, this time.

      Thanks again.

Forward the emails to support at WarriorPlus - I'm sure they would like to know what their affiliates are up to.

That's true... Warrior Plus may well get involved, but equally they might wash their hands of it.

With respect, that's what the Warrior Forum does with WSO's... there are some utter rip offs there (certainly not all) but there's nothing the Forum can or will do about it, which is understandable.

It's definitely worth getting in touch with them, but if they don't help you can try contacting the guy sending you those mails directly... if nothing comes of that, escalate

    ... It's times like this I'm glad I went with double opt-in

    Gotta hate spam.

What I like to do is take the sender email and set a rule to send it back to them!

You know as a list owner I'd hate this so much...

But as a subscriber I think this is a work of genius... piss them off as much as they piss you off and someone's gotta give sooner or later :p

      Well played sir...

If an unsubscribe link took me to a WSO sales page thread - I'd be posting a comment on that thread. The seller would be checking on that affiliate quickly.

If it takes you to the WarriorPlus page you may just need to change your settings on that site.

your best bet is to contact WP.

It could have been a system glitch, or it can be a rowdy affiliate.. so keep your options open
