Google Conversion Tracking in Wordpress

I'm a bit technically challenged... does anyone know how to add the Google Conversion tracking code to a dropshipping site in Wordpress? I have a 'Thank you' page created that is private and people only get to after they have purchased... after that though I'm stuck. No idea where this code goes (I'm not good at that). I tried to just paste it right into the body of the page, and that didn't work. I know, I sound really dumb. Can anyone help with this?
