Anyone have any experience promoting a money making program using a solo ezine mailing? Can you recommend a good one?

The term "money making program" is too vague. What do you mean?

My affiliate program for the website where I sell ezine classified ads is a money making program.

Another person's affliate program for selling health ebooks is also a money making program.

However, what you promote is totally different and the market is totally different. That's why if I'm telling you where I promote my ezine classified ads program ... this may not be useful for you if you want to promote there the health ebook.

Or maybe by "money making program" you understand that type of program where the buyer doesn't buy absolutely anything useful, but pay a fee so that to get the right to access a members area where to copy the same poorly pre-written solo ad and start himself to promote his affiliate/reseller link, so that other people not to get anything useful but the right to promote the same "money making" program?

On the other hand, it doesn't matter too much the success of other people who ran solo advertising campaigns. Why do you care? Will you promote the same thing, will you use the same solo ad (same headline, same ad copy)? The success of a solo advertising campaign depends on YOU, not on what other people did when they promoted another program, using another solo ad and tagetting a different niche.

Test yourself what works for you.

    Thanks Adrian,

I was just using the term, "money making program" generically. But I ran an ad here about making money with sex on youtube in the classified section and it was successful. So I was thinking of running the same ad as a solo ezine ad mailing. In fact, I just forked over $150 for an ad just tonight.

Advertising on YouTube and advertising in ezines are different. I don't advise you to use the same tactic.

Talking about sex may be a sure way for your solo ad to go directly to the Spam folder. You know what this means, don't you? A complete failure. In addition many ezine publishers will not accept your solo ad.

If you change the platform you're using for advertising, then you need to change the tactic.
