Strategic Decision - Need Experienced Advice
Ok, a few months ago I got all hot-n-heavy over a keyword, bought the EMD and cranked out a 9K page site and started pumping out excellent articles, hand SB and Web2... commenting by hand on related properties etc.
So it has some competition, this niche, and I am ranking pretty well, the problem is .. is that I targeted the WRONG keyword in the niche.
A similar KW is getting 3x the traffic and $$ if not MORE than 3x.
So I went out and bought the EMD.
The question is..
Should I dump my efforts and 301 this poor performing site to my new URL and de-commission the content on the old URL and put it on the new URL ?
I want to save the 9K pages.
I know I can't carry over the backlinks (per-se), I was just wondering if a course-correction would be a good strategic move.
I dread creating a fully new competing site and keep both, I have alot of development projects on my table... ideas or you need more info?
