Redirect with domain problem

Hi Warriors,

I'm trying to promote a clickbank product and i'm cloaking the link with a custom domain. Something weird is happening that I'm confused about.

So I have this affilate url

myid.vendorid.hop.clickbank.net

lets say i'm cloaking it with a domain abcd.info

the abcd.info is supposed to forward all traffic to myid.vendorid.hop.clickbank.net

However, when i try to open abcd.info in browser, the url in the browser remains the abcd.info but the website actually opens up with vendor's sale page.

Does my affilate id still get tracked?

Is this the browser's way of displaying it? :confused:

Whats going on here?

Anyone plz advice

It sounds more like you are "masking" the domain name causing the affiliate site to show up in a frame.

Check your domain control panel again and make sure you are "forwarding" the domain name and not masking it.

this happens when using a frame redirect. if you would use forwarding, it would go to original link.
