Is Hostgator down?

Hey guys,

Is it just me, or is Hostgator down? Its main website, and therefore my websites, stopped loading.

    Not on my end. Just logged into cpanel, and checked 2 of my sites, must be something on your end. If your on a shared server, could be specific to that server...dunno

    Going well on my end. Just kinda slow but working fine. You could try asking hostgator support if something may be wrong on your end. Happened to me before and it only happened to me. They fixed it for me tho. So best thing to do is ask them.

    Check your processes and inodes in Cpanel. If you exceed them, they bring down all your sites with a 500 Internal error and no warning. Happened to me 2 days ago.

      This happened 2 months ago to me too. I had exceeded inodes levels and due they brought down my sites......I lost a few members on one of my site's database

    HostGator will not open for me either. I tried to go to the site 2 hours ago and it wouldn't come up then. Just tried again and have the same Internet Explorer warning.

    Your website wouldn't be hosted on the same server has HostGator.com itself. If anything you are having problems connecting to the SoftLayer datacenter which really wouldn't make sense because WarriorForum is hosted by SoftLayer as well and there aren't any loading issues for you here obviously.

    OK my websites load S-L-O-W-L-Y and then some. Try coming back after an hour and see if this is the case. Perhaps they are over loading servers again.

    Its 3:38CST and my site on hostgator is running just fine. Hostgator does have Live Chat--have you tried talking to anybody over there about the problem?

    Not on my end too. Maybe it's your browser. Sometimes it happened. You just have to clear the cache or delete cookies.

    Hostgator is down. My sites on my reseller account have been down on and off for 2 days. Now, we are experiencing mysql connection issues. I have been on with support at times for 2-3 hours which is useless. I am quickly moving my sites to other hosting companies. I have been a hostgator customer for 8 years. I understand sites go down, but hostgator support, while fast and always available hasn't had a clue what the issue is. It is a raid hard-drive swap. They can never tell you much more. The support at hostgator is worthless. Yes, they are available 24/7 but if they can't answer questions about your site being down, then what good is their support? I get a $25 credit for losing hundreds of dollars in sales. I am in the nut business, selling nuts and seeds. Pull out while you can. Hostgator hosts as many sites as humanely possible.
