If I create a site and want to promote a cpa offer like iphones or something like that. How much content do I need to avoid getting google slapped, Honestly if its just a site like hotdeals.com or something... do i really need to have like 3 or 4 unique articles about Iphones?:confused: Any info would be great thanks warriors!

    If you write at least 500 to 800 words of unique content you should be all set.

      And by jeeves, lets underline that word UNIQUE and add in HIGH quality.

      Forget spining and everything else. Remember that is what google and people want to read, not just straight hard core jibbersih.

      Google will reward you, and also your readers. Don't find this out the hard way, do it right from the get go.

      I sent about 85-300 crappy backlinks and 10-15 good ones per post on my blog and hit page 1 for about 3 days for my chosen keywords.

      Google caught on to my crappy backlinks and...

      I went from 680 searches per month to 8.

      Yes, 8.

      Fail.

      You know the interesting part though?

      My overall blog traffic is actually higher, although my conversions are lower.

      Oh well...

      To OP:

      Focus on the quality content and build an email list

      Maybe throw some twitter tricks in there and you should be set.

    By slap do you mean get moved far down the SERPs? I don't think there is a minimum amount of content you need, but it was an Adsense site you should make sure it isn't thin so it isn't deemed as a MFA site.

    With a CPA offer site, try to make the articles at least 800-1000 words as then you're more likely to achieve a good ranking. Also spend a good amount of time on keyword research or could just end up abandoning the project if you pick competitive keywords and can't rank for them.

    Put it this way you can have hundreds of quality articles and still get google slapped.

    Google does what it wants, can make mistakes and there is no telling why they have punished you.

    You just got to do your best and hope you don't get punished. Otherwise create a new business model that doesnt rely on Google for traffic.
