Need help on how to get started with article writing

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Everybody,

I just need help starting out as an article writer. My girlfriend is quite a skilled writer and I mentioned to her that she can make money writing articles for people and she is VERY keen.

What are the first steps she need to take to get going and making money?
How to get her first job?
Does she need a website?
What tipe of writing can she do to get the highest return?
Any other tips?

If you are totally brand new then you could just get started writing for others - chec out the sites where people post their writing jobs, look at the sort of applications other writers make when applying for them and compete for a few contracts - there is a lot of work:

Elance
oDesk
GetaFreelancer

Then once you know a little more about site structure, design, how to get traffic and make your own site popular then you start writing for yourself - and you can find out more about that side of things here.

She can also start selling her writing services on Digital Point Forums for free. But if you think she's already good enough of her writing skills and grammar, it's better to post here on Warrior Forum itself. No doubt, she will get lots of clients here.

A website isn't essential at the beginning. Create a free blog and explain the service. Next, join with popular internet marketing forums, and find clients through signature file & free/paid advertising sections.
