I would like to track which affiliates send their leads to a page where an lead fills out an 8 question consultation form. There will be no purchase on the consultation page. (most affiliate software i have seen tracks when a purchase is made, and not just a simple consultation form filled out) plz help

I will then have my sales guys call the lead after they fill out the consultation and upsell them. But i need to track which affiliate referred the lead so i can pay them a commission. any suggestions which tools to use?

i currently have accounts with 1shopppincart, aweber, and relevanttools.

What software are you using to create the consultation form?

You might be able to add a "hidden" field which has the ID of the affiliate.

Are you giving affiliates their own coded link?

im using relevanttools, but can switch over to aweber. I imagine thats how i would do it...giving the affiliates their own code, like I do with our regular affiliate products w/ 1shopping cart. im just not sure how to do it with a form because their is no purchase. How would i go about hiding it and generating an affiliate ID for whoever fills out the form?

      thanks in advance

Ok I'm NOT a coder but this is the EASIEST way to accomplish this.

Add a hidden field to your consultation form that includes an affiliate ID.

This is very easy to do and any "coder" can help you accomplish this. What you'd do is have your affiliates use a custom URL such as

    http://YourURL.com/your-form?ref=affiliateID

Then you simply use "GET" (PHP code) to grab the Aff ID from the URL and drop it into one of the hidden fields of your form.

Now every submission you get will be marked with an affiliate ID.

    Super simple.
