I am trying to figure out the best way on how to include around 10 keywords in the title or as much as I can.. my domain doesn't match any of the keywords.. should I separate them using the | or include all of them in one long sentence?.. not sure what is the best way to do it..

Thanks

I wouldn't separate the keywords in your title tag by a | symbol.
I would say do something like creating a sentence from your keywords. That's what I typically do You won't get all 10 keywords into your title but it will be more natural and you only have 70 characters that show up in Google results so focus on the main keywords that you want your site to rank for.

I'm not sure why you would want to try to target that many keywords in a title. Why not just target the individual keywords on separate posts or pages? It will be more attractive to potential visitors, and it won't appear spammy like trying to stuff 10 keywords into a single page title.

10 keywords in the title is too much in my opinion. That will confuse search engines and won't be as effective as 1 or 2 keywords. Also your click through rate may decrease because people won't click your site in google results if they see a series of unrelated words.

and don't seperate them with | write a sentence instead. something that is human readable and not very long.

Thanks for the fast replies! I am targeting individual keywords in posts but my main domain is PR4 ( I know that doesn't mean alot) but I have tons of backlinks from alot of authority and .edu sites some of the links are 10+ years old so I am guessing they have a high value..that's why I am trying to get the top 10 keywords in my title

Do the 10 keywords make a sentence?
If not, I believe its better to go with 1 or 2
keywords in a sentence that a human reader
    can read.

You can also try to place the keyword nearer to
the start of your title (while ensuring it makes sense
for your reader) for better keyword prominence.

Thats a large amount of keywords for one page.

I would suggest making 1 page per keyword term. Use sub pages and put the keywords in the permalinks (the url). This is super easy to do if you are using wordpress and will help a lot if you build keyword specific backlinks to your site.

Ten keywords is way too much, and trying to incorporate them all into a meaningful title will probably just result in a mess. I would say the absolute most you could cram into a title and still have it both relevant and related to the content would be 3-5. And thats assuming the title is long, and the words are all closely related and easy to fit into a sentence (possibly with multiple clauses).

Try not to overdo it, and just pick the best and most relevent keywords for your title.

You shouldnt be trying to stuff 10 keywords into one page title.

Instead create, individual pages, or categories, each optimised for their target keywords.

If you insist on promoting numerous keywords within one page, you need to be mindful of title length.

If the keywords are relatively short eg dog training | how to train dogs | puppy training then that *may* work, but it really is bad onsite optimisation.

Its definitely not a practice I would encourage or recommend.

Be sure when separating your title keywords that you use the pipe separator | as suggested.

I'd go along with the comments about this being way too many keywords to put into a single page, especially in a headline.

This is assuming you are planning on optimising the homepage for all of these keywords, as you'll end up with a multiple keyword stuffed page and I'd guess it will be unlikely to benefit you. Without knowing the keywords and site it is difficult to know if it could be made to work, but it would be unusual.

As your domain name doesn't have any of the keywords in it, I'd tend to look at finding a kind of umbrella keyword for the 10 keywords (hopefully this would be one of the 10) and use this in the headline title. Then optimise the homepage for this single keyword and use the others as LSI, with internal linking of separate pages which target each of the 10 (or 9) keywords.

      Hope that makes sense
