Yeh, that's a very rough and ready solution, but that's all it is.

Fact is that the needs of mobile user differ from those of web browsers and nearly all WP sites contents do not readily meet those needs just by using WP Touch.

I agree it's a rough solution. Sometimes on Opera the site I use with that plugin thinks I'm mobile and shows me the mobile site. As well Google Webmaster tools flagged it with hundreds of errors before I decided it wasn't worth it. Too many unknown factors with the plugin.

Excellent thread. I too am on the Mobile Challenge and strongly agree with others about the over hyping of WPMobilePro by the organisors. It has seriously put me off purchasing for that reason alone. I've run e-commerce web sites for over 12 years but I am a newbie when it comes to mobile. I'm looking for an authority voice and I've visited other blogs but Jay seems to be "the man" at the moment - thank you.

So, as a newbie who wants to get into selling mobile phone sites to clients WPTouchPro seems to be the way forward for me - I'm going to stick my toe in the water with a $39 single site and try it out before spending $199 on the full developer licence. Here goes..........

I guess that maybe a solution if they don't have any web site at all, but if they have a html site it's not a solution and if they already have a wordpress blog they will likley just install the pluggin themselves?

@kenwarrior. OK, what seems to be possible is to create and host a .mobi site for a client who already has a .com web site. It doesn't matter how that site was created or where it is hosted. A redirect would then be placed on the .com site so that when a mobile phone (or Google mobile bot) visited the .com site it would be sent straight to the .mobi site.

@daniel. I think the WPMobilePro is $77 for a single licence but WPTouchPro is $39.

Thanks too for the link to EZ (I can't post a "thank you" link yet!) - I'll have a look at that one too.

                  RE: Google Mobile Bot

Just like the regular google bot if the redirect is javascript its unlikely it will redirect as it typically ignores javascript, additionally most javascript redirects are based on screen size detection for that reason too since the google bot doesnt have a screensize per say it wont trigger a redirect even it if it did recognize javascript...

Additionally it will only redirect if the user agent detection implemented recognizes the older type of mobile device ie Non Smartphone Pre Iphone since the google mobile bot does not presently mimic any smartphone user agents. Also if your site is not valid XHTML MP it wont matter anyway... since google mobile will ignore it and consider it a regular site,

if you put the extra little bit of time in to make your site validate for mobile then you should go the extra step and create a proper mobile site map and submit it to your google webmaster tools

anything that is not considered mobile friendly will simply be considered a regular desktop type of website but would still be included in mobile search, valid mobile websites only get identified in google search for non smartphones, and are identified with a small green mobile phone icon next to the listing, i haven't yet seen any influence on higher rankings, they just more visual attention since the green icon stands out.

Hopefully in the not too distant future Google will figure out a way to identify sites that don't necessarily validate for mobile but are specifically designed with mobile in mind.

                  Hope that helps,

                  Jay

I'm also part of the Mobile Challenge, new to Mobile marketing and I'm also wondering what the best option is for Mobile sites.

I need something rather simple as I'm much more of a marketer than a techie.

                    I appreciate everyone's input.

I own WPMobilePro but not WPTouch Pro.

I just watched some youtube reviews on WPTouch Pro and it appears to have a lot of features you can customize.

If you have a dynamic site like a blog WPMobile Pro is not the way to go because you have to update them separately.

The selling point for WPMobilePro is that you can create it for businesses and charge them fees for being the one to make occasional changes like menu items. Specials that change often are best handled by sending that to a facebook page, or having a squeeze page or an sms or all of the above.

                      Anyone tried Wapple Archiect?

Also note, I have QRCodeGenerator which I think has better features than the one being pushed in the mobile challenge.

You may want to check your prices; I think that one site license is $77.

Also (and this is not an affiliate link), check out this new WSO - http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ptinforms.html

The websites look really, really good using this system, and I sincerely hope that this is listed as an option on the Mobile Challenge. Doubt it though.

You guys should think about responsive (wordpress) designs.
You can only see what responsive designs do by narrowing your browser window (to simulate a mobile device)
    Here's a good example: http://themify.me/demo/themes/tisa
And that's just one of them.
There are already plenty of responsive wordpress themes available.
IMO, this is great CSS technology!

I use WP Mobile Detector on a couple of sites, but on most of my sites I don't bother with a mobile plugin. The growth of tablets are making mobile plugins less and less necessary.

You might wanna re-read my post above (see example and instructions - not affiliated).

If you use a RESPONSIVE WP THEME, you don't need a mobile plugin.

      How cool is that?

I agree with @Stephan Vee...use a responsive / adaptive theme to build the site to begin with. Then "one size fits all" really does apply. They are very cool.

Whilst responsive design is a good concept for desktop and tablets - if the developer or user doesn't understand the importance of a good mobile experience for cell phones and that the content needs to be light weight it will typically get a dire rating for mobile validation as they will end up serving the same content just shrunk down... you really dont want to be opening a web page on your mobile device with a handful of large images that have the same filesize as those presented to the desktop version of the site especially if they are high resolution! lol

You need to serve the most compatible and lightweight content to the correct devices to get the best end user experience, unless the design is using user agent detection to do this I wouldn't even touch it...

@martin I have to totally disagree with you and the author of the article you referenced, the growth of people using cellphones to surf the net totally outstrips tablets, there is no way that more people will be browsing the web using tablets instead of their cellphones for at least the next 5yrs and then some...

@stefan that example you suggested scores 0% on the mobileOk validator... that is simply not acceptable 500kb+ to serve up one page is not practical at this stage in the mobile revolution, some mobile browsers will simply not serve that much data without timing out or having problems. They will eventually but not just yet...

@mark until they finalize a set of standards such as html5 and mobile device manufacturers can include browsers that are 100% compatible with it and everyone switches to using these type of devices there will never be a one glove fits all solution for a mobile site that's any more creative that a simple landing page or 5 page basic mobile website unless a developer knows what they are doing... And I haven't seen a framework to address that yet, that's not to say there won't be one in the future.

@sbucciarel we have discussed this before on another thread whilst WPtouch is by far the best current WP plugin for converting a Wordpress blog on the fly to mobile i personally feel it falls short of providing an out of the box solution that could really enhance the mobile experience instead of having a great looking mobile blog instead delivering a more practical mobile website for business with tap to call, mobile friendly contact forms, autoresponders for example to name but a few. I hope they address these shortfalls as it will really would add the icing to the cake, from reading allanjames post I think we have the same understanding.

@cyndi If your don't want to learn how to to create your own designs, or simply don't have the time or know how and have to obtain either free or paid mobile wordpress templates I would check to see how well they validate for mobile before committing to using one especially if you have to pay for it, they don't have to be 100% but the closer they are to being so the broader the range of devices that will deliver a better mobile experience to the end user, additionally I would also check to see how well the theme is supported, does the developer provide good/fast support or even have a support forum.

Themeforest.net have a number of aesthetically pleasing mobile themes for Wordpress, some have a remarkable similarity to some WSOs here on WF. However the nice thing about themeforest is you can actually preview and test drive the themes before you purchase. Using a theme switcher plugin will allow you to deliver both a regular desktop theme and a mobile theme to the end user based on the user agent properties of the web browser accessing the site.

I can't recommend enough how useful understanding a least the basics of mobile web development is, at least understanding the reasons why your site doesn't validate will be a huge asset to you if you decide to get more involved in mobile web development.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Jay,
The example given was to show you what's possible (and how responsive design "tastes" the screen).
Most folks I met are totally unaware of what responsive design does.
With a modern smart phone AND 3G, 4G or WiFi, I don't see what the problem could be. IMO, that's the future.
I do however agree with you that many sites should create a light "mobile" version, but that can be done with the same responsive theme as well.

    Hi,
    @ Jay
I read several of your posts...
This is my situation: I have several websites that are ranking, when checking my bounce rate, I have a really bad bounce rate for mobile devices, specially with Mac systems.. Mac almost 100% bounce rate.
I am not into off line marketing, I do not need theme that gives them who to call, a menu or directions..
These are people that searching for long tail keywords wanting information.
What do you suggest is the best approach for this?
    Would WPTouch do the trick?
I entered the mobile challenge with Maria, but I do not see my problem solved with WPmobilepro.. the solution is for me to create a new mobile site m.domain.com ... but global customers are coming for information through 20+ different long tail keywords .. not to find my phone number or my location,

    Any advise?

@imangel - if your Wordpress site is more blog/content based then i would say WPtouch would be the direction to go, i also think you are correct in your assumption of wpmobilepro too

Try the free version of wptouch and check your stats to see if your mobile visitor bounce rate decreases, if so it maybe worth checking out the pro version - which has more mobile features that can enhance the end user experience....

On a different note its interesting that you mention its primarily iOS devices that have the highest bounce rate - do you happen to have any flash or youtube videos on your site?

if so the flash is a big no no as its not support on iOS devices, same goes for youtube videos if they are not embedded with the latest embed code, i believe WPtouch pro version will fix your youtube videos but there isn't much that can be done for any flash you may have on your site...

please feel free to get back to me with any questions - i would be interested to see how you get on

this should give you the full run down...

WPtouch Pro » Premium Mobile iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, and Palm OS Plugin for WordPress » BraveNewCode Inc.

am not 100% sure if the free version also converts youtube and other video sources to be mobile compatible... i think its the pro version that just changes the way its embedded...

like iamangel said when youtube video is embedded and run through validators you are penalized which to a degree does make sense, and in time will be addressed - embedding a 720HD video whilst can be played on a mobile device is probably not the best thing to do if you have limited bandwidth or a slow connection

3gp video was a standard designed specifically to accommodate mobile playback whilst the quality is substandard it works great across the broadest range of mobile devices, just because something works ie HD video doesnt necessarily its right and should be used or is the best solution... regular websites work on mobile devices but its not the best solution and as we know a more lightweight approach is better...

i like to use useragent detection in my designs and serve the most compatible content to the end users mobile device so it gives the end user the best possible mobile experience

          hope that helps

          cheers

No Jay, the free version is nicely converting the youtube and other video sources to be mobile compatible!

As I don't use it it's hard to say - if the current free version is doing everything you need it to then you should be good.

looks like wptouch doesnt make autoresponders mobile friendly... i have my own framework for wordpress that automatically does that - but you can manually do it too... there was actually a thread on here that discussed this in some detail - think it was dexx that started it and willr made some good suggestions how to do it manually, i just use css overrides

I'm not into offline marketing either so I'm finding Maria's Ultimate Mobile Challenge a bit of a slog.

I did like Jason Fladlein's webinar on Affiliate Mobile Marketing though. Wondering whether to spring for his mobile theme.

    Hi Jay!

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    You are the angel!

I am not sure if I have flash, how do I know that part? is it videos too? or like advertising that blinks and changes. I do have that.. and I can change them to static banners..

and I do have a lot youtube videos.. though not in all the post. Maybe that would explain why few mac people do get through, they are going to the post with no videos.. !

Some of them were embedded long time ago, so who knows what code they have...

Ok, I can get the single WPtouch PRO to try it out.. to correct the video part..

I can change the animated banners, is that flash? Before I change banners, if you can confirm is that what are you thinking?

Thanks so much! I was feeling so lost!

Right hand click your animated banner it maybe actually an animated gif which should be fine... If its a flash banner an info box will appear about the swf animation.

Check out perfectomobile.com they have a very unique framework that interacts with real mobile devices, they offer a 1 hour free trial which will be enough time to see what you site looks like on a number of different mobile devices including iPhones, blackberries and androids, this way you can see for yourself what your site will really look like on people's mobile phones.

The discussion going on between IMAngel and Jay Moreno is EXACTLY what my concern is too!

I entered the mobile challenge with Maria too, but ain't really happy with their affiliate offer of WPmobilepro.

I rather am looking for a more general and global kind of theme like IMAngel is doing too.

I have around 30 blogs to mobilize.

Keep your discussion going IMAngel and Jay Moreno!

Curiously looking forward to your further discussion...

I only have a couple and I am starting to create few more.. but I do not want lose ranking due to my problems with mobile phones.. and I do not want to have to make new pages for every post in another domain.. I can not imagine reproducing the content of your 30 blogs..
and it was not clear to me, if you make new pages in your new mobile website, then, now you need to try to rank them right?

they are already ranking in my current website.. I just does not make sense..

I have been involved in mobile not just for a few weeks or months but was developing dynamic web based mobile content prior to .mobi back to the days of wap/wml web sites when standards and validation was 10 times stricter than it is today... I converted Joomla 1.0 to be completely mobile ready and its even showcased on ready.mobi still to this day! lol

It's my job and passion to follow the growth of mobile. Its something I enjoy despite how geeky that sounds! lol I've always been fascinated with mobile! So the current mobile web revolution is like a dream come true for me!

As well as being a web developer I also have a very good understanding of SEO as well, despite what certain experts suggest I don't believe adding meta content like keywords will help rank your mobile site any more than what it would your desktop site, nobody knows for sure the full ins and outs of mobile seo, even Googles statements seem contradictory and clouded.

What I do understand though is that there is a major difference between Google search for desktops and mobile. What most people and even some "seo experts" don't know, or acknowledge and disclose is that Google.com/m is not in fact the same Google search used for mobile smartphones....

Google.com/m is in fact the search for non smart mobile devices, the Google search you see on your smartphones like the iPhone and Android is actually triggered by the browsers user agent. Try using Firefox and user agent switching between iPhone and say Nokia n70 and you will see what I am talking about...

So you might be thinking so what? lol Well the difference in the two Google mobile search portals is very important, well in my eyes anyway!

I have not heard many people comment about how mobile optimized sites actually stand out from the rest of the search results... but they do stand out but only on Google search for non smartphones ie. Google.com/m!

How do they stand out? Valid mobile sites stand out because Google places a green handset icon next to the listing... take a look at this link for an example notice some of the listings have green mobile icon handsets next to them... these do not appear in the Google search for smartphones...

        http://www.google.com/m?q=new+york+restuarant

Why does Google do this? Because the site properly validates to mobile standards in particular to the most common mobile web standard XHTML MP. There are others but no as widely used in the US or Europe. If the mobile site does not validate Google does not recognize it as a true mobile website. Additionally a properly formatted mobile site map also needs to be generated and submitted to Google. Conforming to these standards and submitting the properly formatted in most instances will get the fancy little green icon listed next to your listing in the SERPS, however I have not seen any indication that infact ranks the site any higher in the SERPS either, that goes for m. sub-domains and the use of .mobi domains. Remember I am talking in regards to mobile search for non smartphones which will also be used by some feature phones too.

There are a lot of people that I see are not concerned with mobile validation - even developers and wso publishers, I have seen people comment that the mobileOk validator is for older phones and shouldn't be something that you should be concerned about it... I would possibly agree with them if they where talking about the ready.mobi validator but the mobileOk validator actually detects and acknowledges HTML5... Anybody that knows anything about mobile web development will know that HTML5 is not something that is old school... But perhaps HTML5 will be the possible future standard of the mobile web.

The mobileOK whilst still checks for older standards it is still being updated to address newer mobile technologies and it's my understanding that jQuery for Mobile will also be validated against as well in the not too distant future. Any good mobile web developer should be aware of mobile validation and able to deploy a layout that validates upwards of 85% and if not should understand why not. It is certainly possible to still validate a site that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing for smartphones as it is non smartphones - just a little more know how and attention to detail is needed.

FYI the higher the validation score the more broader range of mobile devices will be able to access the site and have a good mobile end user experience. Particularly if scores well on both the mobileOK validator and the ready.mobi validator which is for older devices.

So carrying on - Where does that leave your site if it doesn't validate? Depending how it's linked to or what type of canonical references you have set in place it will be ranked the same as any other regular desktop website, currently right at this moment it is my understanding that Google does not use any crawlers that imitate smartphone user agents only non smartphone user agents, which is a shame as I would love my mobile sites to be identified in Google search for smartphones as valid mobile content is on Google search for non smartphones! Just because it looks good on your iPhone or android means nothing at the moment to Google.

If you think I am talking a load of hot air ask yourself why are you getting mobile traffic when you don't have a mobile site? it's because your site is still seen high enough to be found in Google search results for mobile (both portals) or someone has typed in the direct URL... As @Iamangel already mentioned they are getting mobile traffic for long tail keywords chances are that's already mobile search engine ranked content regardless of it as we already know not being mobile friendly...

FYI another difference on Google search for smartphones - you will notice what appears to be like a small magnifying glass next to each listing, this is also Google's attempt to mobilize any non mobile ready content... from what i can tell you can actually really only access this properly on an actual smartphone...

Slightly off topic but am actually very unhappy that Google is promoting its own Adwords service when you search for any SEO related terms... currently i have seen this happening more and more. Actually i am not that unhappy as i no longer offer SEO services as i saw this happening sometime ago before Googles Panda hit the scene! lol

So what I am getting at? In my honest opinion until Google changes it's inclusion and recognition of sites that are indeed mobile friendly for smartphones I would simply continue to rank you content as your would do normally... but enable a mobile friendly version of the content you want to show your mobile visitors!

In complete honesty I do think seo is dead and google is simply more concerned with paid inclusion... Organic listings are rapidly being pushed down and under the fold in favor of paid inclusion. So perhaps another suggestion would be to target PPC for mobile devices specifically if your site caters to smartphones...

I don't expect everyone to agree with me! Lol I don't really care! Lol what I do know is I didnt find this stuff out overnight! Lol and all the information is right there on Google for you to read yourself - but until you actually implement a strategy and see the results for yourself you will have to rely on the words of others (that doesn't work for me...) personally i would always ask questions and don't get in a situation of the blind leading the blind - especially when people are jumping all over the mobile bandwagon to make some quick $$$.

What i have wrote here is simply my own personal view, findings and conclusions on mobile and part of the practices i will keep implementing and improving on as Google and mobile technology changes and for as long as i continue doing what I love doing!

        Hth

Since I am in the midst of taking many big business decisions, right now I have just (partially?) mobilized my 30 blogs with WPtouch free. I have W3 Total Cache, but it seems to be going fine with it.

And you are right, W3C behaves as a senile cynic all the way!

I just used WPtouch free for the time being, since I need time to take the best decision whatever that may come out to be.

I have a gut feeling that Jay (only! ) really knows something substantially deep and honest about the whole issue.

    Hi,
I got the WPTouch Pro single, installed and I am configuring... I also have W3 Total Cache installed. So, I follow the set up as it gave me a warning that W3 needed reconfiguration.
I have checking my load speed using google speed check..
If I enter the list of rejected user agents in W3 Total Cache as described in the WPTouch video, the load speed goes from 81 to 51..
with notes to leverage browsing caching..
i guess the point of adding the list of rejected user agents is that they do not get cached? so they can see the mobile site.
I disabled WPTouch my speed goes back to 81..
So, I can not have both?
good speed and people able to see in their mobile phone?
I am using the perfectmobile site to see how it looks with WPtouch and without, pretty cool website..
I also learned that half of my videos are indeed flash! so, i can see how they look in the iphone... blank! I have to go and replace them all with youtube videos..

Question: iframes.. do mobile device them like them or not.. when I was doing the W3C mobile check, major issue as they called it, was use of iframes by my youtube videos..
I am not sure W3C is a good way to check or not, as all websites failed miserably, including the ones promoted in "mobile" oriented webinars of recent..
    Thanks!

OK, not sure if I have this right, but isn't WPTouch Pro simply making a current desktop website look better on a mobile device, but WPMobile Pro and Warrior Will's method are totally designing a mobile version of a site?

Essentially, with WPMobile Pro and Warrior Will's product, you are going from scratch and making a fully mobile website, which, to me, would be a better route to go.

I too am in on Maria and Tina's challenge, and even the extra $77 for one WPMobile Pro theme is not chump change, especially around Christmas. Will's mobile sites are great, and I use them now, but my concern is that they take a little longer to build and are not as fresh looking as WPMobile Pro, and take a more in depth coding knowledge.

Is this deja vu? Seems like I've seen this post before....

Listen, I think that the WP Mobile Pro thing looks really cool and nice, but I just have to wonder if mobile is the flavor of the day for Jason Fladlien and Wilson Mattos. I've seen at least three webinars by one or both of them in the last 8 weeks or so on three totally different topics.

With Will, mobile design is his business. Period. It takes a little longer to put up the HTML version of a mobile site, I know, and there is a steeper learning curve.

But I'm just thinking that Will's tried and true method may be a better, if not much more economical route, for folks to go.

wptouch addresses the needs for info and blog type wordpress sites, wills wso addresses building a mobile site for business as does wp mobile pro, the difference being is that wills is for static sites that are non wordpress based and the wp mobile pro uses wp and the accommodate building mobile sites for business... not necessarily needed if your doing affiliate marketing... which to me in the way its being discussed recently is some what questionable anyway... i also think Willrs templates look far more professional and well rounded.

personally for the reason stated earlier in this thread to me mobile validation is important, i personally wouldnt use wptouch or wp mobile pro as neither truly address or accommodate validation, the only real solution that does is willrs... i personally use my own custom mobile framework that also addresses all aspects of mobile as well as runs off of wordpress however as much as i would like it to be publicly available right now its simply in my eyes not ready...

i cant help but feel the whole purpose of the mobile challenge was actually purely just to up sell wp mobile pro lol so far the coverage of mobile seo has been dire, completely missing the fundamentals of mobile seo - hopefully this week i will be pleasantly surprised and some real/useful information will come of it... for noobs coming in to this niche i feel its a case of the blind leading the blind... but we still have another week of training/upsells to come so perhaps we will find some little gems that actually have some substance behind it!

i do also struggle with the fact that despite there being so many mobile related wso's there is still just a small number of warriors in comparison that actually contribute freely anything of substance to aid the discussions and help on this forum about the subject of mobile...

you would kinda think that those people releasing mobile wso's would also be active on the forum... even for the sake of a helpful post here and there no matter how short it is it would still only be considered as positive and am sure appreciated by most especially noobs in this field...

WillR and Quentin spring to mind who not only have produced extremely informative WSO's but they have also contributed some amazing information...

in all honesty i think there is enough information out there here on WF to get you going well beyond the starting blocks of mobile and mobile marketing, you just have to sit down, read and consume it and then put it in to practice... i think WF is possibly amongst one of the best resources for this niche...

Well, sort of, but something like WPMobilePro is pretty standard, so when several people start using one theme from it, a lot of sites will look like that one theme. You'd really have that issue for all the people you personally build sites for, too, though. Not a bad problem to have though - a ton of businesses with basically the same framework of a website.

I also sort of feel like the Mobile Challenge is a big commercial for WPMobilePro. At least four days of the challenge have somehow promoted that theme. It's a heck of a cool theme, just pretty expensive.

I use Handheld by ElegantThemes and am happy with it. It's a plugin and easy to use. You can choose whether it applies to iPad or not.

I did some research for my blog too and figured mobile WP is not there yet. As of now I see no way to get a mobile theme that would look good across the board. Even different versions of Android run different rendering engines

I don't own WPTouch Pro. I did try Wapple Architect on a couple sites and maybe it was the theme I was using, but it came out a little weird.

But I just (as in minutes ago) bought the Developer version of ezmobilesitegenerator which is a current WSO for under $47 which is $150 less than the WPTouchPro developer license.

The features look great and seem superior to WPTouchPro. But as I said I just downloaded it. Also the tutorial videos are available right from the Dashboard.

I do own WPMobilePro and have made a couple sites, but changes to content have to be added in manually, which is not great if you have a site with a lot of dynamic content.

    Hi,

I have been busy with some other problems, worst than my mobile problems...

I can report that since I used WPTouchPro, the site statistics have improved a lot. I can see that my mobile friends are staying at my site now.

The affiliate landing pages are not optimized for mobile, so that is another problem, as I do not control them.

Reading the previous post, I was thinking, I have not checked for errors.. so I just did.

Glad to report that Google has not posted any crawling errors since using WPTouchPro.

I did go ahead as an end of the year expense and bite the bullet with the unlimited site version, as I can see the mobile trend is not going to stop and I better be ready. I implemented it in the other sites.

I did check my statistics on analytics as far as the % of people using mobile to get to my original site.

    October 36%
    November 41%
    December 46%

and with all the iphones, ipads and tables that were sold for Christmas, I can only imagine! where the trend will be going to

I like that you can give the option to the customer if they want to see the mobile version or not, as I have been checking at my local Staples how my site looks..

and in some tablets it looks good without the mobile interface.. and you can navigate with ease.

If the device is small, then the mobile version does work better. I am so glad I can just go to Staples and check real life how all these devices perform.. it is like 5 minutes from home.. so is ATT! Next time they will force me to buy something!

Jay, thanks so much for your help, I wish you can help me with my other problem!
a virus attack in my computer.. Norton was useless and actually beaten by the virus

Thanks all for your input.. and I will report back how it goes with the other websites.. they use different themes etc..

    Thanks!

    Just wanted to update:
So far this has been working pretty good. I also went to BestBuy and checked the ipad interface. You can make your website like an application for the main menu. The first thing the customer sees is a welcome message and the message that they can make the app. It actually worked with no problem. Then, you just click the app and brings you to the website.. neat feature. Not sure if other plugins have this. and if customers will use it, but it does work.

I am advertising for someone who has mobile plugins to do a custom theme for me whose idea is partly based on mobile events.
Access to more than one Plugin is an added advantage as well as Previous experience.

    U can PM me.

    Thanks
