Hi Friends,

In Google ad-words keywords tool I am finding the keywords with High competition, Medium and Low competition.

What kind of keywords shall I use for my site high, medium or low and WHY ?

If you would clarify this in a detailed way that could be very helpful to me.

Very useless in judging your true search engine competition. Its' relevance is only in regards to advertisers. Low competition = low initial CPC, usually.

The kind of keywords you should use for your site, depend on what you're trying to do. If you're making money with adsense, then high competition is good.

Wait isn't the competition dependent on the # of people bidding for the key term and not the CPC?

CPC is generally effected but it doesn't necessary always mean high competition - high cpc or low competition - low CPC.

I've seen keywords with high competition and still low cpc. else where would the cut off be for high CPC to qualify for high competition when some CPC are in $20 and some $1...that's quite a range to classify as high competition or low competition to reflect CPC.

In conclusion I believe the competition does not indicate the CPc; it can have a reflection of it though as you would think the more people buying thosekeywords the higher the prices can be. However CPC varies from niche to niche as well.

Although I do agree that the competition on adwords doesn't help you do the keyword analysis on how competitive it is to SEO your site on those terms it can AT TIMES affect the # of competition in Search Engines...generally with higher CPC it means that it is more profitable and more value thus the traffic is more profitable and more valuable and so more people might be also targeting

Those are PPC competition. Ideally if you choose a keyword with high competition base on google adword tool it means there are more competition in the bidding for the keyword.

It gives a rough indicator of how many PPC clients are bidding for those keywords. consider competition and consider an estimated CPC base on spyfu.com...it goes without saying higher CPC is generally better for webmasters and more competition is generally better but more competition doesn't necessary equate high CPC
