Help - has somebody a solution to this? (E-Commerce script)

Hi, I was looking around in the last few days and can't seem to find a solution. What I need is a "simple" script that allows me to sell a service where an order can be placed and payment is only required after approving the order. Now I know the big shopping cart solutions like OSCommerce can do it, but that's way bigger than I need. It's only a service with very little variation. I could have a paypal button I guess, but then I would need to refund everybody that I don't want to deal with (hard to explain, but I sell the service on fiverr and have to decline quite a few orders, because they don't read properly and I'm afraid paypal might not like a lot of refunds)

Maybe somebody has a hint / is using a software / script that does that.

And if not, it was worth a try, right?

Thanks in advance!!

Depending on the traffic, it sounds like you need an invoicing tool. Of course, you can manually invoice out of Paypal, or use a tool like phpInvoice (free). A friend of mine uses SimplyBill in a similar situation - he works in the local SEO space and turns down a good percentage of his leads.

Look up freshbooks, easily integrate with paypal and so easy to use.
The customer applies for your service then you invoice them using freshbooks.

It has a lot of good features as well.

Perhaps you could set up with Paypal a two-payment system... sort of like a membership site payment, except not multiple payments.

Imagine it like a 3-day trial deal... $0 upfront, $5 after 3 days type thing.

If you don't like them you cancel their order before the payment goes through.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a look and Paul, would be a good idea, if it wouldn't mean the buyers need to have a CC on file in their paypal account, which around here, not many have. (subscription needs a CC for some reason)

If anybody else got an idea, I'm gratefully listening. Thank you.
