Erectile Dysfunction eBook

Dear Warriors,

I've got the rights to an ebook on achieving and maintaining an erection for long periods of time - curing premature ejaculation and having a better love life.

What would suggest the best way to market it is from start to finish. I'm a complete noob at this sort of thing but the product is pretty decent and does provide a service many men seem to require.

Any help most appreciated as this is my first go at internet marketing and they've told me this forum is the place to be.

T

I'm a decent copywriter, but basically lost on the bigger picture of ebook marketing.

lol @ the OP's username & thread title.

    coincidence? I think not. hahaha

but no in all seriousness, throw it up for sale on DigiResults — Work Less, Sell More and let affiliates promote it for you. maybe that will work. I cant say for sure, I've never done anything in this sort of niche/topic.

    God I can't resist.

You should have affiliates sell your e-book, this could create a long lasting residual income, but choosing the most stand-up network is vital!

Also, make the commission to your affiliates worth their while (60%-75% I would say), give them sales tools (banners, articles, etc), you don't want to make it hard on the affiliates..

    Good luck.

@ Ryan - "He said 'tools'...".

My advice - REALLY help them and give the report away for free and start a mailing list so you can pound them with emotional articles every week on why they will lose their girlfriend if they dont buy your enlargement pills.

You will have a list ten miles long that you can sell over and over to... Thats the ONLY way to sell it the way I see it, with the market being so competitive.

Write some compelling copy on how a person needs your free ebook.

Heck you would probably get 500 old codgers to sign up right here at the WF... and this isnt even your market!

If you have a thousand subscribers and only a one percent conversion in your email every week. Thats ten sales, and if you find a program where you can make 30 dollars per sale , you now make 1200 a month just in your first 1,000 subscribers...

Surely you could build a list of 10k with a free report of that nature within 6 months to a year, and make it $12,000 per month.

I think you have to build around your free report and not make that the product itself.

Separate yourself by being the guy who wants to help ED sufferers for free with your information, then use the info to sell something.

Ps. This post should be in the main discussion , not offline.

John, be careful, you do not want to get your self into a sticky situation. We all know times are hard, but don't sell yourself short. You are a bigger man than that!

Starts off limp, especially with the stiff competition out there. Once the juices get flowing, the sales will be blasting all over the place, make you feel all warm and fuzzy!

Not to quote commercials but some of those stiff competitors sure drive a hard bargain!

You know I said I need to stay away from this thread, damn you INL!

Even if it starts of fast, he needs to be careful to not prematurely finish by pulling out of what is working.. finish strong, and you can conceive a new complimentary product, and bang away at your list with it.

    Dammit.

This thread may have enlarged the OP's view on marketing and he just may be able to dictate this information back to a team of affiliates to increase his back-end gains, he just needs to stand-tall and take the blows as they come.

It was originally a serious question, as this is a significant niche that I was looking to sell to, and invest a significant amount of time doing so. Then the levity of members, including yourself, ran with the joke probably a little too far.

I'm interested in serious responses and any particularly great wordplays.

        T,

        Point taken

        Here's a few ideas"
        1) Put up a website
        2) Write some sales copy
        3) Sell your book through Digiresults
        4) Create an affiliates program through Digiresults
        5) Create a Twitter account called "up and Up"
        6) Create a Facebook Fan Page called "Standing Ovation"
        7) Leak a free chapter of the book if people "Like" your FB page.
        8) Make some comments on your FB page - this is a hot topic and people will not be able to resist leaving comments such as you have recieved here
        9) Create an optin page on your website also giving away a free chapter of your book
        10) Have your Twitter and FB icons on your website Optin Pages

This should make you erupt in the niche. I apologize if we were to hard on the joking, I suppose now the joke and wordplay has gone a bit flacid. I think Diane's advice will help you get up there.

There is definitely some serious competition but the payout I think will be great. If you have some money to spend, do some PPC and see what happens. Easy and quick, but can be expensive. Otherwise, there are cheaper and free ways to testing out the niche, even if it will end up taking longer, and being a bit harder. Testing is always beneficial.
