Banner Ads on Warrior Forum - Anyone have results?

Hey Guys,

I have been considering purchasing a daily banner ad slot on WF for $100, to send traffic to a promotion. It seems like an intriguing deal, but no matter how much I look around for information on the Banners, and any results people may have had using them, I can't find anything. The main thread about banners has sort of devolved into a lot of people saying 'Oh Banners, Cool', which they are, but which doesn't say a lot about what they can do for you.

If anyone has any first hand experience with running a banner ad on WF, and what kind of results they had as far as income, clicks, or any metric at all, I'd be very grateful to hear about it. Just some first hand 'what to expect' is what I'm looking for. Thanks!

    That thread doesn't have the answer to his question.

    I've seen these threads pop up and dissapear. My take is that it isn't being discussed for a reason. Whatever the reason actually is may very well be something you'll have to figure out on your own.

    I've had a banner submitted and "pending" for about 6 days now wish theyd just either accept or reject me and tell me why, bit frustrating as I see the potential!

      They might not even take a look at it until they have an open banner slot available.

      I've been wanting to test the waters with this as well.

        I've run plenty of banner ads on the WF and almost every time I made more money than I spent. I don't have exact metrics to offer you because I must admit I never tracked my clicks and it's very hard to know which sales came from the banner ad when you are directing the clicks to a WSO on this website.

        Having said that I did always notice an increase in sales when using the banner ad - an increase that was more than enough to pay for the banner ad. Obviously there is a lot that depends on the success of your banner. The text on the banner ad itself, the offer you are sending people to, the day of the week, and on and on it goes.

        One thing I will point out is that a lot of the banners you see are the same ones day after day. Ask yourself this question. Would those same people be buying the banner ad space over and over if it were not successful for them?

        There are only 10 banner spots per day. Only when a banner spot opens up will they be able to approve your ad. It does not get approved until a banner spot is free and remember there are probably people ahead of you in the queue. Once it is approved you will receive an email right away asking you to go and pay for the ad. However unless you go and do it the moment you receive the email it is highly likely someone else will have already taken that banner spot as they get swallowed up very quickly.

        It's not as easy as you think. When I use to run my banners I would sit there about 24 hours after my banner went live and keep refreshing so I could re-activate my ad as soon as it expired. You will find a lot of people do this which makes it even harder for you to get a look in. It's really a game of luck at the end of the day. It did produce some good results but I just didn't have the time or the patience to keep trying to renew the ads every day.

    I have always made money with the banner ad...

    BUT, it is such a pain in the ass to get your banner in the rotation that I eventually stopped spending my time trying to get into circulation.

    Banner costs Vs results... It is worth the money.

    Time required to get the banner live Vs. results... I have better things to do with my time.

    If you're interested in the results, you could always check out the stats of current banner ad by adding a "+" at the end of their banner URL

    For example, a banner that showed up as I type right now: https://bitly.com/rGiwn5
    and by adding a "+" to make it bitly statistics for http://www.warriorforum.com/complete-web-sites-sale/494674-new-offer-warriors-make-min-3000-month-adsense-authority-websites-special-launch-price.html , so you can view the ad's daily, weekly, monthly, or annualy tracking details!

    *Note - This is only if it's redirected & shortened by bit.ly.

    Targeted traffic converts and price also have a big roll to play too, if what you intend advertising is in demand in this forum you will surely make your money.

    If i were you, i will first of all promote it in my sig, if you are promoting it else where there is need to install some tracking software to track where your sales are coming from.

    this is something you have to test for yourself.

    Ask a good marketer. Yes I have personally generated over 6 figures advertising here in the forum. Paying for the banner included.

    Ask a bad marketer they will say no it sucks don't waste your time, when in reality it was their offer and sales copy that sucked.

    It really depends on your product and services and banner look and the time of your banner visible over here. I invest 2 times with banner Ad. One time I got good returns . Other time, I have bad experience. No Sales at all. 0 income.
