How to optimize a web directory?

Hello all Warriors,

I have just launched a new web directory and want to optimize it... I was wondering if there are some techniques different from optimizing other types of websites or if SEO should be done just in the same way...

Will be glad for any tips or opinions...

    I think the SEO techniques for web directories are just the same for other types of websites.

      Sure there is a lot about SEO, I am actually looking for tips on SEO for directory sites especially. Not sure if you got me wrong or if I just search wrong keywords, but I cannot find any thread about this (at least in the last months).
