3 hours from concept to profit...

This post, hopefully, will give some Warriors some hope, inspiration and a gentle kick in the butt...

to DO something and start making money, OK?

Yesterday morn, 9 AM, I had an idea that came to me from a post in another forum.

At noon, 3 hours after concept, I sold two of my new products for a 20 dollar net profit, 10 bux each.

Today, I've already sold 5 more. Of course, I do have a list...and if you don't, you need to start building one AND do some Joint Ventures until you do have some...and also, use your Warrior Sig File to get eyeballs on your offers...and not everything has to be done as a WSO.

OK. The concept. A collaboration on a cookbook.

How to find collaborators? Not hard to do, but, here's what I did.

I cook with Anasazi Beans.

Just made some ice cream last night from the beans.

Today, I'm making choc chip blueberry pan fried cookies...yea, not your typical recipe.

So I created a promotion which you can see here: note I use Dropbox to host the html

Quick and easy money.

This took me about 45 minutes to write, and got a paypal button and within a few minutes of "launching" so to speak...I had my first two sales. Made 20 bux. In less than 4 hours from concept to market.

LOOK around. YOU have hidden and stored value in your living space, be it home, apt or pup tent.

My first two buyers and the 5 so far today, will be great collaborators for the new Healthy Lifestyle cookbook we're going to collaborate on. Why would they participate?

Look at Chicken Soup series...only difference, is all collaborators get to sell cookbook, or give it away if they want...and they keep all profits from their own sales. The rest of us have links in the cookbook and we get some name mention in a positive way too. Look at niches interested in losing weight, healthy diets, and all of that. This collaboration fits this niche.

See? YOU don't have to overcomplicate things. YOU don't have to spend money and spend months testing this and that...when, in fact, you could have an idea this morning and IF YOU ACT UPON it, YOU COULD have profits this afternoon.

Now, I'd like to give you a small peek into my week. Just got ONE payment from a paydotcom promotion, it was for 34.50. Add the 20 from the beans. Another affiliate deposit of 225 and another deposit of 711 from a different paydotcom promotion. I spent, maybe, 5 hours online and yet, almost 1000 of profit for the week due to my multiple sources of income...none of which took much time and NO money to set up and put into force.

Some of YOU are spending money on WSOs which is great IF you are putting them into action...and a few of you have great frustration about NOT being able to make any money...when...the Interent with all the traffic can be tapped into like a maple tree and give you sweet syrupy cash for years...and even decades.

So, here's the challenge, sort of...can you come with a product and bring it to market in less than a day and make profits???

Maybe yes, maybe no.

Here's what I'll do. IF, you have an idea, shoot me an email, and we'll discuss a possible joint venture. I have a small, yet responsive list, and if you execute your idea, we could joint venture...for FUN and profit.

OH, and here is a link to a little report, made me about 100 bux last month, took a couple of hours to write...NOT...about 45 minutes. Read it over, you may get some ideas.

PS. Keep it simple. Make some money. As many a Warrior are apt to say; rinse and repeat.

Get several things working for you, I like PayDotCom cause I got sick of waiting for Clickbank checks...but even better, I like the Automated Product Vending sites...which you can read about here:

Red Bean sauce is used throughout Asia in desserts.

In Japan, they make the ice cream. I made that last night.

In China, they use it like a filling, sort of like cherries, in turn over type products, pies...

Do a google search on Bean Ice Cream, or Red Bean desserts, and you'll be amazed at what is out there...

I'll tell you this from personal experience, I'd eat Red Bean Ice Cream any day, not so much Monkey, Balut or Rattle Snake. Although...

Wish I had invented it, just borrowed it and working on perfecting Anasazi Bean Ice Cream...

Hmm, will have to try that sometime. Here in WI, the only weird ice cream I would have seen lately is cheese ice cream

    Well done, impressive.

It also shows if you have an area of interest or a passion, you can use that to make money. If you are interested in it, it's likely others will be also.

How about an affiliate program on that particular offer. I do have a recipe's list that I operate, and would love access to be able to sell your product.

I use (http://getdpd.com/) for some of my products, and they have it set up for you to do affiliate offers too.

It costs only $20 per month, but your first month will be free.

    Gordon,

Have you been reading my mind?

I spent an hour doing research on health foods and alternative lifestyles this afternoon.

My parents both have diabetes and I was looking for natural remedies which sparked off a really interesting business idea.

Yes, I have been reading your mind...and, uh, well never mind...

This is just personal experience advice from fighting Diabetes over the last decade and losing the battle until recently...

      and the experience has been...

They are mostly full of S*IT...including and in particular, the ADA...

      And doctors.

The only cure is diet change (sometimes extreme depending on lifestyle) and exercise.

There is NOSTHING else, no pill, no herbs, no witch doctor...there are only wastes of time and money.

The diabetic who is serious about ridding herself of this dastardly disease, and make no mistake, it is a serious and oft fatal disease...

HAS to accept the responsibilty and do what is right for her body.

NO shortcuts, and it can get tough, especially this time of the year when everyone is trying to get cookies down your throat...

Eliminate ALL sugars from your diet. Eat lots of Greens and Yellows veggies. Get rid of oils, of all kinds. EXERCISE like your life depended on it...

Hey, shoot me an email, perhaps you'd like a few good recipes.

But, whatever you do, try to make your parents understand that if they put themselves under medical treatment... they will ALWAYS have the disease...but, just MY opinion, no medical advice from this guy...except to avoid medical advice or at least to be diligent and get second and third opinions.

My experience has been with Diabetics, they want their cake and want to eat it too. Taking a pill or two only exacerbates the problem.

It isn't easy, but if they want to be around and in good health for many years to come...it is the right thing to do...

      RESPONSIBILITY

      DIET

EXERCISE AzND MONITORING which the Med Profession is OK at doing. IMHO.

Awesome, and great way to put a plan into action.

I had no idea dropbox could be used in such ways. The gears in my head are turning like crazy right now.

Paperchasing, if you read the report, you see I love FREE. Tens of thousands of dollars have come to me over the last decade via FREE websites and using free stuff.

Although I like CoffeCup Pro if I had any interest in creating a "real" website...I like to use PageBreeze FREE...but mostly use either the html editor on one of my Cpanel Web Sites or use the Lycos/Angelfire free builder.

Since my IM biz model is MOSTLY usiing Automated Product Vending sites, as per the little report...I don't have much need for full blown web development tools...

And DROPBOX has been great...easily reachable from my smart phone...and I've tested several reports and products...so far, so good.

What I like about Dropbox is if I have my photos in the public folder along with the html page...I don't have to create directories and sub folders...neat and simple...and with a shared folder, you can collaborate with ease.

I can work with partners in Japan and Australia and we don't trip over each other, it works out great. It is a perfect collaboration tool.

Give Dropbox a good workout...for testing and bringing a product quickly to the market, it can't be beat...and oh...

      it
      is
      FREE

      Did I mention that? HA!

You're an inspiration, gjabiz, and your post is a great
call to action for all those that tend to over-analyze every
situation and thereby delay taking action.

Thanks for the case study and take-action blueprint.

      Thanks focused,

      An update.
I posted a video at you tube for my fried bean choc chip blueberry cookie...and it has brought in several orders AND I'm getting several new contributors for the cookbook...

all in all, it was a pretty good use of my three hours...

ONE guy is real excited, because of his wheat allergies...to try something different.

I rarely use sugar and flour to cook with...and the bean recipe for pan fried cookies has many variations...

About taking action...it will often open up OTHER pathways one doesn't consider and each path could lead one to something very interesting and sometimes lucrative too.

ACT. And watch what happens. One can always make adjustments while in motion...

it is better to get shot out of the water, than to rot at the dock.

People who make sweeping generalizations show their inexperience.

It may be true if you are marketing to the general public, have no list or following...then, maybe, I'd agree. But, in 15 years of IM, I can name scores of PERSONALITIES, who sell to their lists, members, followers...

and many of them DO have (not has) a business account, my Biz account is Gordon Direct...a company that has been selling online since PayPal was born.
