Converting wordpress to youtube like website?

Hey guys, I am just wondering if there is a plugin for wordpress that gives your website visitors the chance to create their account and upload videos, similar to google, soundcload and plenty others.

If not, can you suggest a platform I can use to make this happen?

    You can purchase a wordpress video theme. That would give your website the look and feel of a video website (like youtube). Some themes you might want to checkout are:

    Premiere by Woo Themes
    Groovy Video by Woo Themes
    Videozoom by WPZOOM
    Wave: A Video Centric Theme available at ThemeForest

    Then, you can install a plugin that will allow your users to make posts. I have never done this so I can't really recommend anything. Try looking for ways to use wordpress to create a website with user generated content.

    This is free but there are other scripts you can pay for. PHPmotion

    WordPress isn't the best solution for what you have in mind.

    There are a few solutions out there, but if you wanna really replicate the whole feel of YouTube, you'll need to use ClipBucket – Free Video Sharing Website Script, Youtube, Daily-motion Clone, PHP Video Script, Media Sharing CMS, Best PHP Solution for Social Networking.

    That is a true solution. They even have YouTube clone themes on there if thats your goal.
