Thanks a lot for those videos. I've only just found out about Jay Abraham, but must say that his information is really interesting. It's also cool that he has so many videos in addition to text-style reports/books.

Have you had a lot of success from applying his methods?

Awesome video. Thanks for posting. Some definite good ideas there, some of which I hadn't considered. A good 10 minutes spent watching it, because there are some gems there.

I have recently seen this guy showing up in various places. Besides being really really good at promoting himself, what has he done besides sell advice? I mean, he makes up his own "tv show", posts himself everywhere and calls himself a business legend. Why is he a business legend?

Mostly because so many other very highly successful people say so. When so many people say it, so consistently, for so many decades, it becomes true by definition (even to a skepchick like me). "Universal acclaim" (which is what it is, more or less, in his case) eventually sticks.

Over the last 35 years or so he's trained and inspired huge numbers of very successful marketers, consultants, business leaders and writers.

      Since you ask.

I know; you asked "why is he a legend", not "why is he called a legend".

But that's what "legend" means: it refers to "what people call you". Different from "purple".

Call me pedantic, but he's a legend, by definition, because people say he is.

You're really asking what's he done to deserve to be called that, I think? And the answer is something like "Over the last 35 years or so he's trained and inspired huge numbers of very successful marketers, consultants, business leaders and writers." No good asking me how he's trained and inspired them, because I'm not one of them. But there are certainly plenty of "household names" who are, on his website - so it looks like he did it "in ways that worked well", anyway?

He's worked as a marketing consultant for a bunch of successful companies.

There's a partial list of his clients on the bottom right section of this page:

To me, personally, Jay Abraham is a legend because he transformed
the way I think about business.

The tips and advice he shared in a FREE package he mailed in
2002 helped me to generate a windfall that let me spend 26 weeks
in a virtual mentorship program learning his methods.

That mid-range investment has multiplied itself over the years
since, leaving me with a deep respect and admiration for the
      methods Jay teaches.

What, to my mind, sets Jay apart from the dozens of other 'gurus'
I've studied is his creative approach towards business challenges
and his emphasis on leverage that gets the maximum out of every
investment in business - and even in life.

Coupled with what he calls 'The Strategy of Pre-Eminence', it
makes Jay probably the only marketing coach I would listen to
      unreservedly, and follow unhesitatingly.

      Does that equate to 'legend'?

      All success

I was just reminded of Jay Abraham's Leverage points...It is his way to look at different ways to exponentially increase sales through multiple minor adjustments.

Think you just answered your own question. Could you do the above? I have been taught by someone that was taught by him. He is just excellent at what he does. There is a thing called "Positioning yourself as the obvious expert", he has done this and so he is...

I highly recommend his YouTube videos. If you do a search by "Jay Abraham" you will find lots of goldmines.

Next, pick up "Getting Everything You Can Out Of All You Got!" and "The Sticking Point Solution". Both of his books will change your perspective on marketing.

Rounding out the trifecta, his "Your Secret Wealth" audio program will really change how you view what generates money for you and more importantly how you view your own life!

After you go through his materials, you start seeing opportunities that you would have never seen before....Honestly, it's THAT GOOD!

He is not in IM. His main thing is brick-and-mortar businesses.. Heard him say that himself, he is not as strong at IM as others.

His stuff is mind-blowing. I downloaded couple of torrents with some seminar video and audio..amazing. Tons of good books and PDF reports too... So happy I found him!
