Sorry that I had to cancel lunch earlier today, but my wife
dragged me out shopping. I actually spent about 2 hours
standing around in Victoria's Secrets, holding items that my
wife had selected, and reassuring the ladies that they really
weren't for em.

I'm a fan of articles spinners, but I would never use it to populate my site with articles.

It's much better to write each article as they will be about different topics anyway.

Article spinning is much more useful for submitting large numbers of articles to blog networks, article directories etc to gain backlinks.

Agree with UMS. If its for your own website then go for hand-written articles. Rewrite and spin that articles to get several different versions and you can use them for your site's seo campaigns (article submission, making videos etc).

It's just right to spend time in writing quality articles as this is the foundation of your website.

Since Google Panda is getting stricter nowadays (till now), I suggest that you should stop using crap article spinners. You can only use them if you want backlinks, but not in terms of search engine traffic. For me, I should better write a high quality article rather than spinning them.

I wouldn't build a site with spun articles by TBS or any other software, nor would I inflict the crap on anybody elses site for backlinks or whatever.

Surely, and especially post Panda anybody with any common sense should be steering away from spinning and going for quality not quantity. In the main from what I've seen quality and spinning with software do not go together.

It depends on what you use to spin it with in TBS and how "smart" you have trained your TBS synonyms to be.

Synonyms Set
Synonyms with "money" shouldn't be used for "weight loss" for example, the spun result is unlikely to make much sense for human readers.

PLR ?
If you are using overly used PLR articles and auto spin them less than 3 times, be prepared for copyscape duplicates by the bunch. While people still say it doesn't matter even if you are using duplicates, my take is, if you register too many duplicates in your site, the ranking penalty in Google may strike sooner than you think. Esp when humans operators from the search engine finally read it if you are lucky enough to bypass their spiders for some time.

Super Spun
These are much unlikely to be penalized by the Search Engines as less duplicates are found and to be safe, you just need to edit the parts that register as duplicates.

Original Articles - not spun
Time is the problem here

To create lots of quality writing, you need lots of TIME. Outsourcing is good but it adds up over time as big expenses if you want hundreds of them to maintain your sites.

Rule of Thumb : Summary
IMHO,

original articles for your Money Sites (personal)
spun non-original articles but at least 70% unique for feeder sites
non-human readable spun articles, sites that you don't mind having just a few visitors to it each month, like sites to use for backlinks

Some may agree and some may disagree the above, just sharing my experience

Handwritten content which is totally unique is always better, even for SEO, than spun content. Yet again, not every one got the means to pump out unique articles, let alone purchase them.

Like others have said, unique content is the way to go with ALL your article efforts.

Until someone can come up with a software program that generates articles that are of high quality and actually make sense... stick with unique content.

I find that TBS and other software programs that apparently are there to save you time do nothing of the sort.

In fact, I wager I could write 10 unique high quality articles quicker than TBS could...

I don't mean to quibble, but a hand-written article will always be a lot better than "marginally better" when compared to spun garbage. The margin is in fact a very, very wide one.
