Question about an old blogger blog of mine...

I have a blogger blog that is getting aorund 7000 - 10000 hits a month and I haven't posted at it since the spring. I've been leaving my blogger blogs behind and starting new wordpress blogs that have their own domains.

That blogger blog gets the same amount of hits as my most successful wordpress blog (and I need to go out and GET that traffic). I am not sure what to do with it. Should I start posting at it and monetizing it or should I move all of the posts to a new wordpress blog with its own domain? I have a domain all reserved for that purpose but one thing that blogger blog has is age - I started it in 2005. I'll lose that. But I wonder if it is better over the long run to move it ...

I know that as my new blogs age, the traffic will come much easier.

I actually have tons of blogs that are like this...you post 10-20 posts and then move on....6 months later, you are checking stats and realizing that it is ranked and getting a good amount of traffic.

You actually have a couple options...(or at least from my perspective)...

    • You can test products on it and see how conversion rates are (not all niches do well with actual products).
    • You could throw adsense on it.
    • Build a list and set up some autoresponder messages.
    OR....

if none of this works well, it could become a part of a link farm....you can just use it for link juice to some of your other sites.
