How to set up digital delivery?? Please help.

Hello warriors,

I have already finished uploading my website after installing the aweber code as well as the sales page with pay now paypal button. The problem is; when the buyer pays through PayPal he/she will be redirected to the download page, but, suppose that the buyer faced a problem getting into that page, how can I send him/her an email with the download link.
I've heard about setting up outlook by adding a message rule.
but I think it only works when the program is running, i.e. my computer is on. Am I correct?? if so, is there any possible way to send this email other than using outlook?

    The theme I use does this for me, but you can setup Aweber's custom parser and automation rules to automatically put the buyer on a new list, and set the buyers list's first email to be a download link.

    That's a crappy and un-detailed answer, I know- but it can be done. Check out Aweber's knowledge base.

      Thank you NateRivers. It doesn't have to be a detailed answer as long as I know the trick here. I'll give it a shot. However, I'm wondering how does paypal tell aweber about the buyer's email??

      Thats a top answer and good info.

      I'd also add that you should just get going and trust that PayPal will correctly send them to the download page.

      If not people can always open a dispute with Paypal, state their problem and then you get notified. From there you can communicate with them through paypal and send them an email.

      I'd say get going right now. If problems arise then you can transition to NateRivers solution. But dont hold back because of what might go wrong. Just do it!

    You are right, but there must be a "thank you" message for buying the product as well as removing the buyers from prospects' list and adding them to buyers' list which is in my case - sorry for not mentioning that the sales page is an OTO page.
    I will try NateRivers solution and then let you know.

      Just so you know, Ebook Pro is no longer available and Derek Gehl is long gone from the IMC.

      The new owners at the Internet Marketing Center decided to get rid of Ebook Pro and are in fact now charging people a monthly fee to still use it.

      Definitely no longer recommended.
