Mobile version increased visits?

Seems like after I made a mobile version of my site the traffic increased... why? Does this make sense or did it just so happen to spike?

    Without having the stats we would be guessing.

    Do you have google analytics or something installed?

    If so check your stats, they will show you this (what your traffic sources are). Then you can know with certainty if the traffic increase is mobile or where it's coming from.

    It's a good idea to install if you do not currently have, the amount of information they track about your visitors is amazing.

    yes without stats we cant say much but i think that they may returned if they found your site nice looking on their mobile
