I keep seeing this gig on Fiverr...why do people sell so many articles for $5? Could the quality be any good at that volume?

No, these gigs are not worth buying. The quality will be poor, and many of the articles are stolen, scraped, and/or being sold without permission. You don't want to give your hard-earned money to this type of seller.

If you want PLR, look for reputable sellers such as those on the WF.

Even if you buy such gigs (or if you have already bought any), do not use them directly.

You can rewrite them or You can convert them to eBooks or other info-products.

Okay Gail, thanks...I thought it might not be legitimate what they're doing. If it's too good to be true it probably is...but that's just asurd. :-/ I wasn't considering buying from them. I already know of some reputable PLR people.

          Hey Cybria,

Lisa Stoops have a very good WSO called PLR Business Training, and Tiffany Dow's PLR ATM is the go to guide for learning the PLR business.

          Best of luck.

Yeah, they are usually poor quality and also overly distributed. There are lots of giant PLR article packs out there but they are old and crappy so it probably is legitimate. Maybe not a bad deal if you are just using them for research or want to rewrite them.

The Fiverr gigs that sell multiple articles for $5 are not of good quality. I doubt if they are even PLR articles. I think most of the providers on Fiverr actually copy already existing Internet content and edit it to make it slightly unique. Most of the times, these articles are not only written in bad taste, but have bad grammar and sentence formation.

    The short answer ... no.
These are garbage articles that have been spread around the Net for a long time, many of them written so poorly that people who care about content would not use them as is.

I've never bought, sold, written, used, edited or produced PLR material at all, so on this subject I don't know what I'm talking about, but just to play devil's advocate here, for a minute ...

Yes, of course the overwhelming probability is that the quality will be absolutely dreadful.

But since you're going to have to re-write it completely before you use it for anything anyway, does that actually matter?

What's the difference, here, between the quality being "so-so" and it being "crap"? Either way, you can't use it without a complete re-write anyway, surely?

When I buy high quality PLR that is well researched, it isn't anything like writing an article from scratch. Change the words around, add some of my own knowledge to it and I've got a great article in much less time.

When I've come across this poorly written stuff written by people who have very poor English skills and no research skills, it's just too much trouble to use it in any way at all. It doesn't give you what good PLR gives you, which is an outline to go by and great wording and language that is easy to reword or rephrase.

Ditto on what Suzanne said... Plus, if the writing is that bad, can you really even trust that the basic facts are correct? That's what I would be most afraid of - that I'd be rewriting something that was factually incorrect.

That is assuming there are hard facts in there in the first place. I've seen way too many articles where everything is fluffy filler that states the obvious (and often states it several different ways to meet a word threshold), but doesn't offer anything that even remotely looks like it came from legitimate research.

Everyone tells me it's normally the case under the terms of the contract of sale, when you buy it?

(I'd be slightly concerned about a bulk buy from Fiverr, as one could easily not know what what the original conditions attached to it were?)

As an article syndicator, myself, of course I'm well aware that putting some of it on your website won't harm your site in SEO terms (though it may, in other senses, of course, depending on its quality).

The fact that there are "thousands" of them for sale for $5 on Fiverr makes it likely. In my opinion it suggests that they've been assembled with no regard to quality at all. And if that's so, then they're certainly likely to be awful.

You seem perhaps to be implying or at least imagining that I've made some sort of "anti-PLR" remark in this thread, Georg? I'd just like to mention that that would be completely wrong - I haven't at all. It just happens to be something I don't write and sell (or buy and use) myself.

I would make it a point to go for quality over quantity. I am amazed at how poorly written some PLR is. What's the point when you will have to rewrite the entire article?

IMO the question isn't about quality but rather legality. Many of the articles in the mega-packs are scraped from places like EZA and are not really PLR.

I like how so many "knowledgeable" people chime in and say "they are junk".
If i look at my PLR collection, those articles look all pretty good to me, in fact the usual PLR articles out there are usually better quality as some "custom written" ones from some "article writers".

So..with the exception that they are PLR and likely to be used all over the web...i don't really see why they are "junk"?

You're right... there are plenty of PLR articles out there that are better than some of the custom stuff you see. I don't assume that they're junk because they're PLR. I assume they're junk because thousands of them are being sold for $5 At that rate, what can you really expect in terms of research, quality writing, and proper editing?

    Airbrush Art Tattoos

A fascinating form of airbrush art is the airbrush tattoos. These tattoos can be applied to any part of the body and last longer than most temporary tattoos. An airbrushed tattoo will last for 7 days unlike other temporary tattoo that start to come off when you are bathing. It takes time or baby oil to remove an airbrushed tattoo. Tattoos that are done with airbrush art look realistic compared to other temporary tattoos.

Henna as temporary body art does last for awhile requiring time and lots of exposure to water to fade and disappear. Henna though takes a long time to hand paint onto the body. The bigger the artwork the longer it will take the artist to pain the henna design on. Airbrush art goes on quickly thus saving lots of time compared to henna as well as airbrush art is waterproof. Unlike henna lots of exposure to water still will not fade your tattoo. Where it would take an artist 6 hours to pain on a large henna design the same artist could airbrush the design on in around 30 minutes. This is a major amount of time saved for the artist as well as the recipient that must stay still during this process.

Another great thing with using airbrush art to create tattoos over real tattoos, is that there is no risk of infection due to piercing of the skin with a needle. There is no healing time needed with airbrushed tattoos. The great part is there is no pain involved. Real tattoos come with pain and is one of the reason that some people do not get them. So using airbrush art to create a tattoo gives people the chance to have realistic tattoos without the pain.

Real tattoos are permanent and you are stuck with what ever you get. The only way to remove a tattoo that you do not like is to either do a cover up tattoo or go and have laser surgery to remove the tattoo. With airbrushed tattoos you can get rid of it with baby oil or just wait about 7 days and then it is gone. No need to go and get an even bigger tattoo to cover up the offending one or go through the hassle of laser surgery.

To do airbrush art in the form of tattoos you will need certain products. First off you will need an airbrush gun, 10' Hoses braded hose, stencils, glass airbrush bottles and an air manifold. Then off course you will need airbrush paints that are designed for the human skin. This is usually referred to as airbrush tattoo ink. To finish up the process you will need talc powder and 70 percent alcohol.

The stencils are available in a wide variety of designs thus giving you almost limitless creativity when using airbrush art to create tattoos. The talc powder is to be applied to the tattoo after it has dried. The powder helps to keep the tattoo from fading. The 70 percent alcohol is to clean the airbrush gun and glass bottles with after you are done.

Airbrushed art used to create tattoos will last for 7 days on the norm. Now if you have extremely oily skin it could start to fade in a couple of days. If you have dry skin it could last past the 7 days. To help keep your airbrushed art tattoo for as long as possible keep applying talc powder to it every so often. If you are ready to get rid of it then just rub it down with baby oil and it will come off.

Why You Should Learn Micro Airbrush Art

Micro Airbrushing is a valuable skill for all airbrush artists. Being able to do micro airbrushing will allow for the artist to create a more realistic and more in depth detail on all small areas of their airbrush design. It is in these small areas that a lot of artist miss the chance to really define the details because they are unable to fully create the detailed area. Micro airbrushing is needed to really capture the details of these small areas. Micro airbrushing is also a valuable skill for an airbrush artist if they airbrush small model cars. By acquiring the skills needed to do micro airbrushing the artist can capture more detail in their airbrush art on the model car.

Imagine being able to create realistic eyes on a dragon you just airbrushed onto the hood of a small model car? When a person looks strongly at your artwork on the hood of the model car they can really see the capacity of the skills that you have as an airbrush artist. Or imagine that no matter what size your project is, even the fine details are brought out to the point that they demand to be noticed. All this can be done if an artist takes the time to learn micro airbrushing. There are couple of ways that an artist can learn how to do micro airbrush art.

One way that an artist can learn how to do micro airbrush art is to obtain a video created just to teach micro airbrushing. AirBrush Action has a video titled Micro Airbrushing that features airbrush artist Robert Benedict. With this video you will be shown how to airbrush 23 skulls onto an area the size of a dime. This video will show you every thing that you would every need to know about working with micro airbrushing. A couple of great features of the video is that you will learn how to truly work with House of Kolors paints and how to work with low air pressures. Learn more about how to do freehand is also a great asset of this video. These are advanced techniques and will take you as an artist to the next level of airbrush art.

Another way an artist can learn micro airbrushing is to work directly with an expert. Take on a workshop that teaches micro airbrushing and you can learn with some hands on projects under the supervision of an expert. Working with an expert can also mean signing up for some private one on one lessons that will give you more direct attention from the instructor. This could give you a little bit more of an edge over taking a work shop where the instructor has many people to teach at one time.

Once you have mastered your skills in micro airbrush art you will be amazed at the amount of detail that you can place in any airbrushing project. This ability will help set you apart from the rest of the competition and allow you to reach the top of the airbrush art industry. Becoming a truly renowned artist in your trade is dependent upon just how much detail you can capture in your work compared to other artists.

Best Bird Watching Optics, How to Find One

The passion for bird watching starts with a simple idea of mere observation of the different kinds of such specie. But as years progress and technology develops, more and more bird watching optics become available in the market and your aim is to find which one is the best.

    The Idea
If you are interested to know how a person start to become an avid bird watcher, first, they have the love for nature and curiosity about birds that they would go out of their way to be able to see some and then see some more until the hobby becomes passion.

A person can start on his own backyard, observing the birds that fly through their vicinity. Then they could start feeding the birds so that the latter would stay longer within near distance. The idea of birdfeeders and bird baths start from this same cycle. To protect the welfare of the birds, trees are planted as well as shrubs and also provide for nesting areas.

Not hooked yet? You can also watch the birds near you, whether on the road or a busy street. Just be mindful of your own safety when performing such task.

    The optics
Now that you already have the habit, you can look into the available optics in the market to see the birds more clearly and to make your observation gearing towards the scientific route.

Binoculars are usually the first gear that birders invest on. The more expensive ones, of course, are better. Usually those come with thicker glass, better vision, coatings, precise configuration and alignment and easy to navigate controls.

Although with so many types available in the market these days, you might find yourself confused about what can be a good purchase. If trapped in this dilemma, all you got to do is ask. Ask the people who've already been doing the hobby for longer periods than you do or if you can't find somebody, search the Web. The Web actually has all the information you need to know about birding and bird watching and the gears and optics that you must have in order to become successful with the venture.

Look closely at the features of the binocular before purchasing one. Choose the right weight by holding such. Remember that when you already have to such it, you have to hold it most of the time for it to serve its function. Also, try to see through it when you are still in the store to know if it is the perfect fit for your eyes. Look at the lenses closely, navigate through the control. You could also ask what are the accessories available to see your options. This way, birding would be much easier and fun now that you have a gadget with you.

The scopes are for the advanced users. This is bought along with a tripod. The idea for the proper placing of such develops the more frequent you use it. The lenses would be your utmost concern when it comes to this. Inspect those before you buy one.

There's a lot of other optics available that you could try once you've mastered the use of binoculars and scopes. It varies from night vision, infrared, illuminating appeal, tools to photograph or record the observation on video among many other choices.

The best bird watching optics is there to help you find the right view, the right angle. When you are already geared up with such, all you need to be mindful about is where you could find the right spot.

Approximately 40,000 children visit this place every year. Guests will be able to see two large outdoor aviaries that house pelicans. They even have a hospital for birds that have been found and brought in for care by viewing the monitor.

You can also visit the Audubon Center at Debs Park. Considered as one of the greenest buildings in the nation, it houses coyotes and about 138 species of birds.

When you bird watching by yourself or with a group, make sure you to bring all the equipment you need like a pair of binoculars, a pen, a journal, a hat, backpack and even a digital camera. You could share this information with the other members during the next meeting so you become an active participant not just someone who sits in the back and just listens to what other people have to say.

The places mentioned just goes to show that it is still possible to do some bird watching in Los Angeles even if it is a bustling city. So check these places out and have some fun.

Tips for Choosing a Coffee Maker

Coffee makers have come a long way. From yesterday's cowboy pots boiling coffee over the coals to today's sleek gourmet brewers, there's a coffee maker to fit every taste, every lifestyle, every budget and every counter space. So where do you begin finding the coffee maker of your dreams?

Before you head for the appliance aisle at your favorite store, do a little homework. Consider what kind of coffee you prefer, how often you drink coffee, how much space you have for a coffee maker, how much you can afford to spend on a coffee maker. These are the issues involved in deciding whether to purchase an espresso or a non-espresso coffee maker.
Choosing a Coffee Maker: Espresso or No Espresso

Espresso coffee makers are fancy. They cost more than other coffee makers (some cost thousands of dollars) and make a variety of coffee types including cappuccino and lattes. Espresso machines often make only one cup of coffee at a time and require cleaning after each cup. The coffee is stronger than that brewed by other means.

True coffee aficionados often prefer to use the espresso coffee maker, especially the super automated models that do everything from grinding the coffee to pouring it into the cup.

Typical coffee drinkers who prefer to have a pot of coffee available at all times and aren't interested in lattes or other versions of coffee tend to prefer non-espresso coffee makers. Non-espresso coffee makers work well for people who like to start the coffee brewing and go on about their usual activities while it brews. They buy coffee already ground and don't bother with beans or grinding.

For coffee drinkers needing large quantities of coffee, non-espresso is the way to go. Large percolator type coffee urns can be used to make more than a hundred cups of coffee at one time.

They also prefer returning to the coffee pot time after time and refilling their coffee cup over making only a cup at a time. Non-espresso type coffee makers are much less expensive than espresso machines.

    Choosing a Coffee Maker: Non-Espresso

These coffee makers are available in drip, French press and combination models. Drip machines often make 6 to 10 cups of coffee at a time. For those who need a lesser quantity, it's better to buy a model that makes 4 cups (or less) at a time. Drip coffee makers are inexpensive and easy to use.

There are pod coffee makers available which use single serving pods to brew coffee. Pod coffee makers can be inexpensive but the coffee itself costs more than standard cans of pre-ground coffee.
French Press coffee makers are great for a few cups of coffee at a time. Combination coffee makes featuring both espresso and non-espresso coffee makers in one machine are also available. These machines give coffee drinkers the best of both worlds.

    Choosing a Coffee Maker: Espresso

Espresso coffee makers come in semi-automatic, fully automatic and super automatic models. These machines make fewer cups at a time and may require more time and attention that a standard drip coffee maker.

The more automated an espresso coffee maker is, the more features it will offer. Some take care of everything from grinding the coffee beans to filling the cup with coffee and ejecting the used coffee grounds.

The more features the espresso coffee maker offers, the higher the price tag attached to it. These coffee makers can cost anywhere from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars.

The first decision to be made in choosing a coffee maker is the need to determine whether an espresso coffee maker or a non-espresso coffee maker is needed. Coffee preferences, budget and quantity of coffee to be made are factors that affect the decision making process.

Yes i agree, the articles could be scraped, or bought somewhere else and resold for profits. But for $5 it may be worth it, depending on what you're intending to use them for.

How many other people do you think have it already if it's on Fiverr?

And how good could it be?

I bought 15.000 articles for $ 10, I knew that is bad and old article. I am not native English so I rewrite again, or edit again by sofware ( it called wordflood ) to make unique. I edit 30-40 %, to become a new contant. I change the title and the first sentence of the first paragraph.

It's better to right your own article for your blog post than to buy it somewhere were you are not sure about the quality of the article.

The quality isn't the best, and they could have been passed around for a couple of years, and the sellers, in some cases could have gotten them free from membership sites, and decided to sell them for $5.
If you do decide to purchase them, you may very well have to do a lot of re-writing.

Use them as a guide only! If it is your intention to submit quality articles.

If you google "free plr articles", you can see that there are websites offering thousands of these for free (possibly to get opt-ins). Someone's probably just collected all these free plr articles and lumped them into one package.

I'm going to go against the current here and say this. They're not always junk but they ARE always WAY over distributed.

Just for fun...Google the first paragraph of the above articles and see how many results you get with the exact same articles.

I have to agree with Travlinguy. It's not that they're always junk but they have been used over and over again for several years.

Thanks for pointing out the OBVIOUS

By the way..it's "PLR Articles - a few thousand for $5" and not "Brand new, new articles written for you, 10.000 for $5"

Of course PLR articles will be all over the web, that's why they are PLR articles.

I cannot help but facing the bizarre situation here in the thread that people are comparing PLR articles to new, custom written content? If you buy PLR articles you get PLR articles - so why the surprise that the articles are already used on the web?

Most PLR buyers don't use them any, the PLR just site on their harddrives, especially when buying them by the thousands.

Those bulk PLR packs can be good for generating ideas/topics for new content.

Okay, I actually came across a site today that offered 100,000 PLR articles as bonus for opting in for their website.

    ???

I opted in out of sheer curiousity. I haven't read all of them of course, but from going over some of them, I see that some are decent quality (not amazing but decent), some have poor grammar, and some are in other languages like Spanish and French.
So basically what I gather from this and from this discussion is that bulk PLR packages are a crap shoot...kind of like buying the mystery box of groceries for $5 and hoping at least that nothing has passed the expiration date.
I guess this kind of PLR has its place, but I understand now why the PLR packages offered as limited distribution WSOs are an attractive choice.

I think the phrase has been said about 1 bazillion times on the WF, but its all about QUALITY, not quantity.

Sure, throwing up thousands of pages on a website can get you some visitors.

But the best autobloggers will tell you that what you do is find the pages getting traffic, put high content stuff on there, add some good backlinks, and you'll start getting more and more traffic and sales.

Even if you find 10,000 PLR articles for like $100, you can rest assured its probably garbage.

    Cybria,

Chris is correct. Lisa and Tiffany both have good guides regarding starting a PLR business. I would also add Peggy Baron's guide to the list as well.

GeorgR -- was that stuff an example of what you think is quality?

Well there's the problem - people don't know what's good and what's average to poor. Sorry - that is mid high school level writing - if you correct the grammar. The information seems sound (I don't know the subject), the sentence structure is average at best - and there are a myriad mistakes - verb/subject agreement, punctuation, and the organization and structure is all over the place. It looks like cuts from different articles have been laced together.

Basically, yeah, you could turn that into quality with some work on it - but it is NOT quality work. Yet it's not gerbish.

So that's what I think of your examples -- but I don't know what your point was in showing it? To show that PLR doesn't have to cost a fortune to be at least passable? It doesn't. That fact, however, does not erase the likelihood that mega bundles of PLR being sold on fiverr are probably stolen, worn out, or trash.

How many subjects do you think 5000 articles would cover? Do you think one author would write that much in that many genres and still produce quality that comes from being knowledgeable about a subject? Ya think the seller paid for all of that stuff - or did he just scrape it, lift it, etc? Also - there's a possibility that pkg might just be composed of all the free stuff that other people are saying already exists out there.

It's not PLR itself that is the question here as I see it. It's the quantity in the pkg vs price. I also see questions about the reputation of the site they are being promoted from which is, in turn translating into more questions about the legitimacy of the source.

Cybria, I've used both Peggy's and Tiffany's books. They actually complement each other and I got a lot out of both.

I haven't been through Lisa's one completely yet, but it looks like it also adds more to the other two. Not a repetition.

I've seen a couple of those huge packs of PLR and they typically make me feel sick to be associated with the word. If you're just looking for some filler words for a throwaway website, then I suppose they serve a purpose. If you have to rewrite them because they are so bad, then you've cost yourself more money in the form of time than it could possibly be worth.

With high quality PLR, you get content that's already something you can feel good about publishing. Then you can use your valuable time customizing it to your voice and your market. It's also easier to transform into other media or combine/cut up as needed.

I've also used the really good PLR for my own research and learning, or as rough drafts.

So, that's my longer answer to the OP's question. The whole point of PLR is to save you money AND time. If $5 is going to get you tons of content that you then have to spend hours making vaguely acceptable, then you've just made a very costly investment. Don't bother.

Something else to consider is this: when buying a package of PLR from someone on a site like Fiverr, how likely is it that all 5,000 or 9,000 articles are going to be related to your niche? I sincerely hope that no one tries selling content on a single topic/niche in THAT kind of volume!

That means that those thousands of articles are going to be grouped into A TON of different topics/niches, many (or most) of which are not going to be related to the subjects you need content for, which will make them essentially useless!

    Just a thought.
