Video on Facebook pages, considering SSL requirement

With Facebook's SSL requirement for fan pages, I am wondering how exactly we can put video on a page. Embedding a YouTube video causes IE9 to display a message "Only displaying secure content", which of course does not include the video since it is not coming from a secure server.

I have already gotten a SSL certificate for a website I own, so I do have access to that secure server that Facebook needs. What I am not sure about is the HTML required to cause that video to display on the FB page. Am I missing something really simple here?

I believe that the Youtube video is not going to be using SSL, so that is likely the problem, if you want to display a video you will need to serve that from a SSL connected server, (not youtube) (perhaps its the cold war between the superpowers of the Internet)

You should also be aware of the new terms of service at Youtube, which allow google to use any videos you have uploaded to their service, they can change it, use it any way they wish, they can modify it, use it in commercials, they can even use any images you have posted of your face in any way they wish.

Because of these issues many Marketers are moving to other Video platforms, which do not have these (legal issues)

There are a number of Youtube Alternatives, depending on your needs, some are free, some are low cost, likely if you want to use SSL to serve up videos, then you will need to use Amazon, it is the most cost effective method.

Its a little complex but it is doable.

Ah, so the Amazon web server service can be used and video would be coming from a secure server for Facebook's SSL requirement? That would be great. Thanks!

It's not giving me a problem with youtube videos. You are using the embed code, right?

However about the compatibility of HTML that video to display on the FB page, but you must have SSL certificate on your face book page as it's mandatory aspect from face book.
