Hi,

I'm trying to access my site and am getting the following message:

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/michaelm/public_html/forexdiamondclub/index.php on line 22

I'm clueless as to what this means, or how to rectify it. Can anyone advise?

Many thanks in advance.

Michael

    hi Michael

    I may not be able to help as I'm not a real techie, but I have seen things like this before (I usually ask my techie people to help).

    A few questions first ...

    • where is this message appearing (web browser, control panel etc?)
    • do you have access to a control panel for your website? e.g. cPanel or Plesk (If you don't know what I mean then the answer is probanly no).
    • have you been able to access the site okay before?
    • If everything was okay before, then have you uploaded a new index page recently?
    Can you provide a link?

    I'll see if I can help. Can't promise though.

    Michael,

    If you are able to open and view the source code of your index.php file, there is a specific file identified on line 22 that is missing from your website.

    Hi Kate,

    Thanks for the offer...now for the answers to your questions:

    It appears as soon as i put the site url into the browser and press return. I don't get my site, only that message;

    I don't think so...it was one of those sites with adsense, videos etc on it that you buy, change affiliate links then FTP to your hosting;

    Yes, i was able to access it when i installed it about 3 weeks ago. I was going back to check it, submit my rss feeds etc today;

    No, nothing added since the upload.

    Hth's you. Any help would be appreciated...so many thanks again.

      Hi M,

      It's not displaying becuase it's trying to include a non-existant file.

      Failed opening ''

      should be a filename in the quotes..
