Google webmaster tool malware notification - need help

Malware

Google has discovered harmful code on your site. While this has not yet reached a critical stage, we recommend that you address this soon. Failure to do so may lead to Google users seeing a warning page when they attempt to visit pages within this site.

Some of the infected pages are listed below, but removing these pages isn't enough to fix your site. You need to identify and address the underlying vulnerabilities
I have got this message in my webmaster tools account. Now, the problem is this "page" is not actually a page on my site. It is a redirect to a cpa offer.

Now I went ahead and simply deleted that link last week. But the message is still showing and there is no link that I can report the fix. So, I am just wondering, what would I need to do at this point?...

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There is some index reconsideration or reindex request form somewhere in the webmaster tools.

This is more for de-indexed sites but might do

So they are calling cloaking "Harmful code"

I was sending PPC traffic to someone's sales page that had the Attach Site warning popup displaying for days before it was resolved, turns out to not be great for conversion rates. The cause was a redirect to a Russian malware site embedded in the .htaccess file.

No I dont think thats the case. I mean, I have lots of links like that. Why would they just target this one.

Thanks for taking time to help out. If anyone else has any suggestions, I would appreciate that as well. Thanks.

If you have WP sites most likely they got in through a theme or plugin. We went through this last year on one of our host accounts with 20 some sites and have since helped a number of businesses. Seems there's been an increase in this too.

Ours showed up right after we loaded a small html site and indexed it. We tried everything we could find and it did not work. Google sent a message to the host and the host blocked the domain taking down all of the sites. We hired a contractor that day who had us up and running within hours. He now works for us!

Within in an hour he could identify when and where they got in - through and unrelated wp site months earlier. About 2/3 of our sites were affected. He also discovered two infected wp plugins which were downloaded from WP -- who knows how many thousands of people have downloaded them and unknowingly infected their sites and host accounts.

If you still need help PM me.

Keeping wordpress and all of your plugins and themes up to date is a good way to be secure. Also delete all themes and plugins that you are not using.
