Can I take a picture of a video and use it on my blog? Example a video of an event and someone is taping an interview. I was thinking of taking a print screen of a shot.

    It's fair use if you're using it for commentary, criticism, or parody. To my knowledge, you can use it as long as you're only using a small portion of the video (which you are, it's only a screenshot), and you're not using that photo to sell anything.

    A safe bet would to include a watermark on the image directing the user to the original source. For instance in the top left corner add :

    Youtube / UserABC1342
