BTW Gmail is restored, you can use it without any fear. Google repared the error which caused the problems for us.

Everything is fine now.

I just recently signed up for gmail because a friend told me it was better than hotmail which I was using before. So were they just doing some technical updates? Did you get an explaination?

There was an 502 server error, if I'm not mistaken. Despite this yet always more reliable and versatile than other systems.

I agree with Product Creator in the additional ones, this kind of problem occures rarely.

So, you make a good decision with your signup.
