That does not really help. Your Wo site is up to date. In the admin area on the left click on themes. What is the active theme? Yours us probably 2011.

In a shared web hosting environment sometimes due to resource overuse by someone else it can slow down your sites including WP. If you are using plugins extensively it can be pretty demanding on the host at times.

This is just one of the possibility.

I find that my WP blog is slow to load and navigate in IE8 but it is fast loading in Google Chrome. You may want to change browsers to check it if you are using IE

Nine times out of ten, a Wordpress blog is slowed down by plugins you've added. Many are poorly written, inefficient, resource hogs, creating a slow site and heavy server loads. You could end up receiving a complaint from your service provider because you are hogging too many server resources. There is even a plugin called PluginHogDetector which will help you track down the CPU hogs. No, I'm not recommending you install it!

If your using Wordpress Multisite, I have noticed that after about 10 or so blogs, it just chokes like crazy at the DB level.

But if its not that, Annie is right, its the plugins or you need more Server resources cause you bought a cheap hosting package.

IF you're experiencing extreme slowdowns when creating/editing posts or pages (it appears that this is what you're describing) - as opposed to just viewing the site - you might want to check your ping list. This is the list of sites that WP automatically 'pings' every time you update or create a post. WP waits for a response from each site, which can cause enormous slowdowns.

It's slow because every time you make a change, the browser refreshes and the server does something in the background. Maybe your internet is slow.
Be patient, where is the hurry, it's not how fast you do it, but how you do it.
