how legitimate is twiends.com

in your social marketing campaign do you just want to obtain a bunch of random followers or do you want them all to be relevant. Should i just be accumulating just a network of all types of people????

    Personally, as with list building or building a fan page, I want people who are interested in the topics I talk or post about, so relevancy is important.

    Twiends is fine just to obtain your first, say, 100 followers. Just don't expect them to be massively targeted or responsive. After that, focus solely on attracting responsive people by providing great content and actually getting involved in the community.

    As with any other business building, go to the prospects instead of waiting for them to come to you.

    Twiends is garbage. I don't say that about many things publicly, but it's entire existence is predicated on getting you to sign up for other people's fan pages or as a Twitter follower for someone you've never heard of and you will never pay attention to.

    I built a FB fan page up to 1000 followers, and there were probably 200 "Twiended" people in that number. They stayed in there just long enough to get their own likes and then quit. They were completely non-responsive and, well, just made my numbers look big. I've never gone back since then.

    I first heard about Twiends from Tyler Cruz:I gave them a try myself and got about 400 new followers with one of their seed packages. Of those 400, about 200 stayed around after a few weeks and I don't really think I get much interaction for them. I've found the best way to gain followers is to simply ask people you are talking to if they have a Twitter and if so offer to follow them and give them your Twitter. Twiends might be useful for a quick surge of followers, but the value is really in the interaction and you aren't going to get that from random people you don't know.
