In Your Experience - Do They Have Paypal?

I was wondering, when you leave the Warrior Forum and promote IM products to traffic that comes from elsewhere, NOT from IM forums, does it seem to you that everyone has Paypal? I know that a person doesn't have to have Paypal, they can just use a credit card, but it doesn't seem as apparent to me as say, when you arrive at a Clickbank checkout page where the credit card fields are all there for you to fill in.

So do you think in that scenario only accepting Paypal, or using things like jvzoo, click2sell.eu,ejunkie.com, etc. hurts you? Or do people figure it out?

Are there alternatives to Clickbank where a person can buy without having Paypal, besides getting a full blown merchant account?

    Even if someone doesn't have a paypal account they can still pay through their credit card.

    There are other alternatives such as 2Checkout.

    But yes, I think a lot of people like/prefer to use Paypal for their online transactions.

    As the other poster mentioned above, even those who don't have a Paypal account can still pay with their credit card using Paypal. At least it's a very well known and trusted brand the world over.

    I think a person can use his Credit or Debit card to buy stuffs online. if he don't have credit card or debit card then a person can use his paypal account. And today everybody have paypal account, I've 2 accounts to make online purchase.

    Paypal is not a bank.

    It is a payment processor

    You can pay via paypal with a credit card.

    Hey guys, thanks for the response. As I mentioned in my post, I am aware that you don't have to have a Paypal account to pay through Paypal, but my question was whether or not your experience has shown that it seems to turn off people who don't have an account, versus just having a different system that goes straight to a page where they input credit card information.

    An example of this would be Clickbank. If you go to checkout, someone who doesn't use Paypal is immediately greeted with a credit card form. Not the case on Paypal. Instead, with Paypal they are greeted with a Paypal login page, and a not-very-apparent button for people to click on if they don't have Paypal. I hope I've explained what I meant. Thanks.

    In my experience I have never had an issue with it. But then again, its hard to compare because there is no way to determine if you have people leaving the sales page because they couldn't pay with paypal. I honestly don't think its much of an issue though.

    If you don't have a Paypal account, and you visit a Paypal payment link, you'll actually see the credit card form first.

    The reason you're seeing Paypal login details is that you've accessed Paypal in that browser before, and there's a cookie.

    A quick test: clear your browse cache and cookies, and then test out your own sales link. You should see the credit cart form by default.

    PayPal seem to be what many people prefer. I suggest you start with that one with the ability for credit card payments also.
