Difficulty finding higher quality affiliate products than those available on Click Bank

Hi all, hoping you can help.

I'm just getting started with affiliate marketing, but I find it hard to get passionate about any of the products on Click Bank.

I'm interested in self improvement, mental health and brain-training. Unfortunately most products in that niche tend to be very new agey and woo-hoo, which doesn't interest me at all.

Are there any affiliate networks or products in the brain training/self improvement niche that have more of a practical, scientific basis?

Thanks

if you really know what you are doing you can contact a product that doesn't have an affiliate program. and ask them if they can, if you are good you can proof it to them and might get a good deal

Why don't you just Google it like "Brain Training" affiliate..

Why not you promote any amazon product related to your topic, in amazon you will find your niche.. that is the ultimate if you don't find anything.. I hope this helps..

Commission Junction is your best bet.

You can also link to Amazon listings.

Or, create your own and keep all the money. Just hire someone to create it for you. Or, spend less and have a report created as a lead generator to build your list, and then refer them to the products you like.

My last suggestion is to recommend the ones you use yourself first. Write a review of each of them and post them on your site or Squidoo.com.

I've had very good luck just googling to find an affiliate program (try this with a variety of your keywords, not just one). Some of the bigger companies run their own affiliate program and they don't use networks like CJ or CB. Hopefully a quick Google search will be able to turn up something like this.

I was having the same issue with clickbank, so I just signed up for shareasale dot com (can't use hyperlinks until I have 15 posts) & I really like them so far. You can see many of their affiliate banners that I'm using at workithomemom dot com. Most of those companies are theirs, with the exception of a few. BTW, I found shareasale through an affiliate rating site abestweb dot com you should really check out that site. Good luck!

    Thanks everyone.

I'm right at the start so I don't even have a website yet.

For the people who use CJ, did you build a website first and then apply for CJ or did you start with CB?

Looks like I'll have to get started with CB, build a site and then move on to CJ.
