    I think there is a script that will show the full website to users, instead of the Google Frame when they come to your website from Google Images and it is legal? Others can shed some light on the said but I have seen a website which was sold using the same script.

    The owner was making descent money off Adsense for almost a year and he claimed the script is allowed by Google. I am planning to setup a site with the same idea too.

    The script of blogs will show full pages to the users. If they are coming for the images (by searching images tag in Google) there will be a light box image shown to them if they click on it, it will redirected to the main article. If they go back after seeing the image too considered as your visitor of the article or page. But if they click on the image it will get them to the article.

    I think that is the use of images search in the Google, but i have seen a thing that some images in the websites are directly redirected (if they come by searching the image) to the niche content of it, so there should be script written to it.

    What are you doing for marketing? I would ignore the Google Images aspect and just focus on getting more targeted traffic. What are your traffic strategies?

      i am just going for long tail keywords...i have images for each article i write and these images are ranking in the top 3 in google image search....about 5-6 of them...they bring literally 2,000 uniques a month, but people stay on the page about 7 seconds and leave (i guess cause they are looking for an image not to read an article)

    There are scripts that can do what you're asking. If you're using wordpress there are a few. Here's one: WordPress › JavaScript Framebreaker « WordPress Plugins

    Google Images traffic is not useless, any kind of traffic you can get is better then nothing.
    You can easily break the frame using this code:

    Code:
    <script type='text/javascript'>if (window != top) top.location = self.location</script>

    No traffic is useless!!!!!You must get your visitors see you site and not you image only.If you use WP you can do it when adding images

  • It´s not completely useless, but nothing more than that. At least for me. I get a click now and then, enough to get back my investment in the pictures. Probably even a bit more. And since pictures improve the user experience it can´t hurt.

    More people should use the frame breaker. I hate the overlay Google uses for images, because the images are always tiny and you have to click out to find a normal sized one.

    What if you break the frame and use a really POW! ad about the top image keyword? Or, would advertising photo sites work?

    When I am looking for images, I would only stop to read if it was really interesting. Not sure how that helps you, but it sure would be nice to make something of those 2k uniques!
