I see that you can't have any external links from articles you post on Buzzle. If that's the case, then does it do anything at all for your website as far as seo is concerned?

OK, so is there anything at all to be gained by posting an article on Buzzle at all as far as driving traffic to your website?

I haven't looked at Buzzle in a few years. But if they don't allow a link to your site, which is absolutely crazy, then no one can even click through to your site if they read your article. So I don't see why anyone would submit content there.

Honestly article directories are a waste of time for the most part if you are looking for backlinks or for clickthru's to your website. If you want to try to submit articles there so people can pick them up an syndicate them, then OK. But as far as SEO and getting click thru's to your site, there isn't much there. If anything you can submit some articles to ezinearticles only after you have put them on your site and they have been indexed. But even that isn't going to do you much good IMO. You are better off spending your time writing good content for your website and guest posting on other websites.

I thought I was missing something with Buzzle but I guess I'm really not. Thanks for all your advice!

There is no point in submitting to Buzzle.

Back in the "epic days" of article directories I had about 50 high-quality articles on Buzzle, each of which was sending boatloads of traffic to my money-site.

Then Buzzle got crap, and decided to ban any form of promotion (not to mention delete my articles)

    Fun times huh?
