Pretty straight forward question:

How long does a WSO stay on the first page in the WSO section

Anywhere from 4 hours to 30 hours, depending on when you post and the posting rate when you do it.

If he shared that info it wouldn't hold true for long.

        True.

If someone wants to know the best time to post, they should watch the forum like I do, and draw their own conclusions.

It's going to be "swings and roundabouts", as we say over here.

I know from observation and from the earlier threads in which this discussed (there are many) that some people have quite strong opinions about it, but I strongly suspect the reality is that when it's least busy, and they stay on the front page for longest, there are fewer people online here to read them, whereas when it's busiest and they last a shorter time on the front page, there are more people online to read them anyway.

The "ideal" way to measure this isn't, therefore, in "time elapsed" - it's in thread viewing figures.

But what all of this boils down to is that the difference, in real terms, is going to be pretty small.

      Just my opinion.

I doubt the Thursday numbers as Tuesday to Thursdays are where I see major launches as they are the ones who do not want Mondays and Fridays.

I have (not) done major and extensive testing to arrive at these numbers. You are not allowed to dispute them.

This (above) made me smile. Of course we all want our WSO to stay on the first page for as long as possible when launching something new. I have often come across some great WSO's days or weeks later after that offer has moved off the first page just through doing searches on the forum for something specific I'm looking for.

My friend, I think the humor was lost in translation...I forget sometimes that typed words don't convey sarcasm all the time. My listing was meant to be completely sarcastic and slightly tongue-in-cheek.

In reality, the "best" time to publish a WSO is when it's ready. I learned the hard way last week that being ready also means having a ton of affiliates lined up and ready to push you off...just putting one in the forum doesn't lend itself to major success.

I'm sooo disappointed, JaRyCu; Here I thought you had done some super-duper fantabulously incredible scientific testing to come up with that impressive list of numbers...

You're not a cute single redhead who's roughly my age, are you? If so, and if you were impressed, then I DEFINITELY did all of that super fancy research and my numbers are 100.7% accurate.

The WSO section does not bump your thread when someone posts. It's been years since that has been the case I believe.

If you sent it to the Yahoo account my old FB was attached to, I didn't see it. That email is now a spam wasteland and I avoid it like the plague. Try the right one: josephwrobinson90 on Google's happy go lucky secretly evil email platform of doom and destruction.

    The simple answer -- it's a gamble.

I have had offers stay there for 2 hours. I have had offers stay on the first page for 2 days. It all comes down to how many other WSO's are being listed at the time, obviously.

There is no way to predict that other than to assume during the busier times there will be more WSO's listed.... but generally there are more eyeballs as well so it all tends to even out.

You could waste a lot of time worrying about something like this. Just bump the thing and keep doing so until it stops making you money or customers.

That's all there is to it. This time would be better spent on fine tuning your sales copy, your thread title, your product. All of those things are going to play a much bigger role than what time you bumped your offer.

The only thing that matters is the views not the time it's on the first page.

If it stays on some obscure time for 8 hours and gets 50 views, it won't do you much good.
