Hi,

I have been sending traffic to some clickbank products and not too impressed with the sales.

Seems I get 1 sale for every 200 hop's.
Is this high, low or normal?

I know it varies etc, but you people must have a "goal" regarding how many sales you expect to get from X hop's.

Also, have been sending traffic to Hostgator and is getting like 1 sale for every 600 hop's, which I find very low. How well do you convert on hosting traffic?

If it is targeted traffic then 1:200 is low rate.
If I get 2-3 sales per 100 targeted visitors it is good.

I have a blog that review some clickbank products along with normal articles related to those products. Guess that's targeted traffic.

    What about web hosting traffic?

People make a LOT of research when they're buying hosting and you are usually not the last affiliate that they click through. You need to show them a reason for clicking on your aff link just before buying. Like a complementary book, or installation help, or some templates etc...

    Hi,

I get 3 sales per 100 hop (average), review type site.

And yes the hosting stuff, there are too many competition. And If I remeber well, the hostgator will pay the affiliate if the customer (sended by the affiliate) upload any file to the server. And that could be bad...
