Best squeeze page traffic (on budget)

Hey warriors!

I think best way of traffic if you don't have a list is to create your own product and use the power of affiliates to sell and build a list along the way. Do you agree?

But what if you don't have your own product yet and want to build a list with a free offer placed on your squeeze page?

I have heard that PPC (adwords) and paid solo ads are probably two best ways of quick targeted traffic. The problem is I found it too expensive (at least in IM niche).

Can you share YOUR recommendations on quicker methods of SP traffic on budget (including cheap solo ads sources or adwords cheper alternatives)?

Also what cost per subscriber and ROI do you experience with your source of traffic?

Any hints and shared experience is much appreciated.

Thank you
George

Solo's should recover your investment. I understand that people don't have a ton of money, but when you are running a business why not invest in it. You will spend that money somewhere else why not spend it on your future.

I understand that. What I fear is that my backend offers will not cover solos expenses until I spend large sum of money.

        Hi George,
I certainly understand about solo ads can be a bit pricey, especially when first starting out. I struggled with this for a long time, but if I had to do it over again I think I would save my money for high quality solo ad providers to build a list quickly.
For solo ads, anything under $1.00 per subscriber usually works for me, obviously the lower the better. Nowadays I shoot for a 50 percent optin rate, I don't always get there but that's another story and why testing is so important
Another way I get a good amount of traffic is from guest posting on other people's blogs. If you find the right ones with plenty of traffic and offer a high quality post, this can really pay off.
        Thanks
        Ted

I would have to say solo ads are best for squeeze pages specifically.

There are countless offers for $10 per ad on Safe-Swaps.

I would always recommend having a one time offer or even just a related affiliate offer (that pays instant commissions) so that you can keep going.

In the forums, people will offer specials sometimes and I managed to get 100 clicks for $20 and made 5 sales my first day and I wish I knew how many after that. Needless to say, it was a very profitable solo.

Oh, and install sales tracking software! It's really helpful. Ad Trackz Gold or even Google Analytics with the URL builder

Very good points!!! There are a ton of cheap solos around. I used a guy from the warrior forum the other day$25 got me like 75 click and 42 subscribers. That lead to 6 sales the next day. 10 sales in the last week from his list. You have to shop!
Also I really like the addition of the affiliate link as the thank you page. This should help you recover your loses. IF you look around on safe swaps you can find a ton of people with good lists, lot's of clicks and a low price. They are trying to gain a name for themselves which helps you out.

Bill and Gabe: Many thanks to you both guys, these are very helpful information
Could you tell what are your criteria by which you choose solo sellers on WF? Or possibly recommend some?

george there are a tonne of quality solo`s around that are cheap too

i usually only buy solo ads between $35 - $50 for 100 unique clicks

ive used over 50 different solo ads over the last 6 months or so and i have found that most of the time the cheaper solo ads actually give me more buyers

you do need to shop around but once you get a nice little list together you can just get repeat buys

solo ads are certainly a great way to build your list

and yes, using affiliates is a great way to generate traffic to your site for free but you do need to have good epc`s otherwise no affiliate will waste there time and also you need to have a good product
