It's my understanding that Web 2.0 isn't really something that can be checked or "validated". Web 2.0 is more about a group of ideas and experiences that relate to user-generated content, much like a social network.

This list of websites should have a blog as well as links to social media, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. You can also look into using HTML 5 and CSS3. These are more Web 2.0-esque. You can always look at the source code of the website, there should be some helpful information in the <head>.

    I hope that this helps!

In order to do that (if it were possible) you'd need to start from a clear and precise definition of exactly what "Web 2.0" actually means. I don't know of one. Do you?

Everywhere I look (and especially in this forum) I see people using the term "Web 2.0" with different meanings. (And not always "subtly different", either - sometimes "strikingly different".) And typically each assuming (a) that everyone else knows exactly what they mean, and (b) that everyone else uses the term to mean exactly the same as they choose it to mean on that specific occasion.
