Is the search and replace plugin the most effective tool for swapping a hop-link across an entire site?

For example, I currently only promote 1 CB product, and I want to change products I am promoting.

I really do not want to be bothered with manually finding every place the current hop-link is and replace it with the new one (I mean I could, but I more than likely would rather watch an alligator chew on my arm for a good part of the day)

Any input on this?

    Next time you setup your sites use a link cloaking plugin like CloakPig (just the one I happen to use I think there are a ton of good ones) or if you're more techy you can probably do a redirect with a php script which I've heard some people talk about.

    Eitherway this means that you can just change the link in one spot and it will automatically be changed everywhere on the site.

    As for this time - yes, probably going through each page/post and doing a find/replace is the option I would use... but I have been known to be fairly inefficient when it comes to this stuff as well
