Hello all

I have some concerns with all these Ad Swaps.

I get the idea, people swap Ads and build up their lists.

But if I get 250 Ads am I allowed to send emails to these users as I have received the addresses from another source.

I thought you could only send bulk emails to users who have given you permission?

Someone please explain.

The Ad Swap works like this (roughly):

    1. There are two list owners who make a deal of sending say, 250 clicks to each other's lists.

    2. They exchange their swipes (e-mails with links to their squeeze pages). Now List Owner A has an e-mail with link to List Owner B's squeeze page and vice versa.

    3. List Owner A sends the ad to their list. List Owner B does the same.

    4. People on List A see the ad, click the link and sign-up (or not) to List B. They are now on List Owner B's list.
At the same time people on List B click the link and sign up (or not) to List A. They are now on List Owner A's list.

After the contract is fulfilled, each List Owner has got 250 visitors to their squeeze page, some of which turned into their subscribers.

Note that each List Owner posted the ad to their own list, but instead of pointing to their own offer they pointed to each other's offer.

If you don't have a list then you can build it the same way buying the so-called solo ads from big list owners.

Thanks Robert, that makes more sense.
