My THREAD deleted?? Wassup?

I'm new to posting on Warrior Forum...I just created an account..although I'm a long time reader/lurker..

I decide recently to start interacting more and get involved in the community and start sharing and communicating better...A little overcoming of social anxiety I guess.

So I created a thread last night sharing a cool new site that is free to sign up to and it helps with organizing your notes or thoughts..Mind Mapping stuff...I shared with community and i think it got deleted....anyway to tell if it did? I couldnt find it with all the threads being started so fast...My thread got lost in a sea of threads.

I thought we could posts links to other sites as long as it wasn't shady..idk

    Hi Matt,

    Start here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...bers-read.html

You will see that #5 says:
If your thread is deleted, do not re-post it. Do not post a thread asking why it was deleted. Read the rules, watch how things are done here, and figure it out. This is not complicated stuff.
As a long-time lurker, you surely know that sometimes threads just get deleted. Nothing personal.

The easiest way to see if your thread still exists, IMHO, is to click on your user name, and then select "Find all posts by..." or "Find all threads by..." If it doesn't show up in those lists, then it was deleted.

    Who knows why?

Don't take it personally. Don't repost it. Move on. Keep contributing to the forum.

    All the best,
    Michael

It happens. Mods--both "regular" and "Super"--are human and make mistakes.

Threads get deleted for a varied number of reasons. Mods don't tell you why threads get deleted. They have far too much to do without giving out personal explanations as well.

What Michael and Suzanne said. Emphasis on the part about "interpreted." We ain't mindreaders, so we go by appearances in the absence of any real track record.
