You KNOW that something's big when Amazon gets into the act. Amazon's now into the micro-job freelancing idea with something they are calling MechanicalTurk

    It just goes to show just how big the internet really is

    Just glancing over it, I see there's a lot of transcription jobs for pretty low rates, so if someone needed an audio transcribed that might be a way to do it. Or some other data-related type tedious tasks. Another out-sourcing option, I guess.

    Its a good place to outsource some of your more tedious tasks.

    I tried making some extra cash on it some years ago. Don't expect much. New members are limited to only the most ridiculously low paying tasks, ie, $.05 or less. So if you're outsourcing stuff there, don't expect to attract workers living outside south asia!
