PayPal keeps reversing WSO payments, anyone had the same issue before?

Hi,

I launched a WSO yesterday and since then my payment button is not working as it should.

Whenever a buyer makes a payment, it is reversed instantly. I used WarriorPlus WSO Pro Adaptive for listing my WSO and I wanted to ask if any of you had the same issue before.

I know this is not the support forum for PayPal or WarriorPlus (I contacted them as well) but I tried everything that comes to my mind and couldn't fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do you mean "It reverses". Are you sure you are referring to the actual process and not the user?

Has it happened more than once?

Hi Nail this has happened to me a couple of times recently.

With me it was whenever I received an adaptive payment (i.e. through a sale from my own WSO) that it would reverse itself straight after (my customers payment and my fee sent to Warrior Plus).

Any affiliate sales (with me as the affiliate) would still function fine through Warrior Plus.

Both times it happened straight after I withdraw some cash from paypal.

Each time it happened I called up PayPal, they had no idea why it would be happening...and then it fixed itself after a few hours.

I have no idea whether it was the call that helped, that it was just a temporary glitch, or that it was all solved when an affiliate sale came through.

    Weird.

Here is what happens: User makes the payment but then the payment is reversed automatically.

It is the same since the launch which was more than 20 hours ago.

I called PayPal, they told me to open a ticket at their Merchant Technical Support section. I did that and still waiting for their reply.

I could as well create another payment button using WSO Pro Standard or something else but it would be unfair to the affiliates.

Now I have no idea what to do...

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I think your problem is that you can't use Adaptive Payments in some countries such as Turkey which I think you are from.

If you have found a way to do it please tell, I am in the same situation for a time now.

Are you sure your sales are not coming from affiliates and what is happening is your getting the full payment, then the affiliate payment is automatically being taken from you and sent to the affiliate.

I never use WSO Pro, because all sorts of problems can happen with PayPal, right up to PayPal terminating your account.

For WSO's I always use one of my Clickbank accounts, then there are no problems with money or with product delivery.

Maybe WSO Pro will improve if they find another payment processor other then PayPal

Glen, have you actually ever had an issue with WSO Pro or Paypal or are you just speculating? I hate seeing people spread misinformation like this around if they don't have the actual facts.

I have run hundreds of thousands of dollars through WSO Pro in conjunction with Paypal and have never once had an issue. I have also had extensive chats with the Paypal risk department where we talked about and mentioned the Warrior Forum and WSO Pro and they have absolutely no problem with it whatsoever.

So if the only reason you are not using WSO Pro is because of a few horror stories you have heard over the last few years, then you may want to rethink things.

The fact is Warrior Plus has now processed just under $53 Million over the last few years -- ALL of that money going through Paypal. So do you really think they have a problem with Warrior Plus?

The tiny amount of horror stories you have heard are insignificant when compared to the hundreds (probably thousands) of vendors who are using WSO Pro and Paypal in this forum every single day of the week. You only ever hear from people who have problems. Those using Paypal with no problems at all are not going to start threads saying so. I also don't think I am yet to see a case of someone having their Paypal account limited where there was not a logical reason for it happening.

Just don't believe everything you hear.

    UPDATE:

The issue with the adaptive payment system of WarriorPlus was this:

I live in a country that PayPal does not allow you to use your balance (your hard earned money) to send payments and you have to use your credit card to make payments through PayPal. Since you can't use your balance, you can't send adaptive payments to affiliates at the instant a sale occurs, hence the reversals. And using my credit card to make payments through PayPal, I am losing money three times as a result of currency conversions.

It doesn't make one bit of sense right? But this is the situation I am in right now and hopefully, either PayPal will change their policy or I will leave the country soon.

That's crazy! I hope you can get it sorted, how about selling through something like 2checkout?

Paypal won't allow you to use money in your account to make payments? That's weird, payment processors usually will give you a hard time with your credit card but not for using their services, that's what they want in the end!

I've been working with Neteller and Moneybookers for years and I really like them much more than Paypal when it come to processing payments, but that's just a personal thought
